Job Summary

Manage construction projects by planning schedules, monitoring progress, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and delivering projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor project schedules to ensure smooth daily operations and timely progress
• Develop, compile, and deliver detailed site progress reports to stakeholders
• Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with safety regulations and standards
• Manage contract administration to ensure projects meet contractual requirements
• Ensure projects are completed within budget, on time, and meet customer quality standards
• Apply knowledge of BCA and relevant authority regulations to maintain compliance
• Communicate effectively with all levels of management to coordinate project activities
• Demonstrate leadership by organizing resources, taking initiative, and making analytical decisions independently

Required competencies and certifications

• Degree in Civil, Building, Structural, or Construction Management from a recognized institution
• Proficiency in MS Project, AutoCAD, Excel, and PowerPoint

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in construction/project management including structural and architectural works

The Interior Designer (Commercial) will be responsible for creating and delivering inspirational designs to meet the client's commercial needs. This is a full-time hybrid role located in Mandai with flexibility for some remote work. The Interior Designer (Commercial) will work closely with clients to ensure that the design and build process is completed according to their requirements while ensuring the work is completed on time and within budget.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Work from rough sketches and specifications created by the project manager
• Design plans using computer-aided design and drafting (CAD) software.
• Draft and prepare layout drawings.
• Collaborate with designers, contractors and project managers on projects.
• Revise drawings and layouts to accommodate changes and enhancements.
• Knowledgeable to draw for C&S, Mechanical and Electrical works using CAD
• Manage project site vendors and progress
• Ensure all works meet quality standards and government regulations
• Ensure that the expenditure of the projects are kept within budget
• Attend meetings and liaise with consultants, sub-contractors and any other parties involved in the project
• Inspect off-site fabrication and on-site installation
• Ensure that all the defects have been rectified before the arrangement for pre-site inspection
• Perform any other ad hoc duties
