Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to manage all aspects of cost estimation, budgeting, and contract administration for construction projects. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring projects are completed within budget while maintaining quality and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents for construction projects
- Conduct cost analysis and monitor project expenditures
- Evaluate and process subcontractor quotations and claims
- Prepare progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts
- Perform site measurements and valuations of work done
- Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers
- Ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements
- Provide financial reporting and cost control advice to project teams
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, or related field
- Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts and cost management
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and QS-related software
- Good analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in local Singapore construction projects
- Familiarity with BCA regulations and standard forms of contract (e.g. SIA, PSSCOC)
