Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the creative direction of all events, ensuring they are engaging, innovative, and align with our brand values and goals. Key Responsibilities:

• Concept Development:
• Develop and articulate creative concepts and themes for events, ensuring they are unique, innovative, and align with the client’s vision and objectives.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and translate them into engaging event experiences.
• Creative Direction:
• Lead the creative direction for all events, including design, decor, entertainment, and overall ambiance.
• Oversee the creation of event materials, such as invitations, programs, signage, and digital content.
• Team Leadership:
• Manage and inspire a team of creative professionals, including designers, decorators, and entertainment coordinators.
• Provide clear direction and constructive feedback to ensure high-quality creative output.
• Project Management:
• Work closely with the event planning and production teams to ensure seamless execution of the creative vision.
• Develop and manage timelines, budgets, and resources for creative projects.
• Vendor Coordination:
• Identify, negotiate with, and manage external vendors and partners for creative elements such as lighting, staging, and audiovisual services.
• Ensure all vendor deliverables meet the creative standards and event requirements.
• Trend Analysis:
• Stay updated on the latest trends in event design, technology, and entertainment to incorporate fresh and innovative ideas into events.

• Client Interaction:
• Present creative concepts and proposals to clients, incorporating feedback and making necessary adjustments.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Design, Marketing, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Creative Director or similar role in the event industry. Minimum 4 years and above
• Strong portfolio showcasing creative event concepts and executions.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in design software and tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for creativity and innovation.

Additional Skills:

• Knowledge of sustainable and eco-friendly event practices.
• Experience with digital and hybrid event formats.

Responsibilities

• Own the visual experience design for overseas merchant digitalization scenarios, with a strong focus on Southeast Asian markets. Experience with native APP design is highly preferred.
• Demonstrate exceptional design craft and a sharp eye for international visual trends. Collaborate with the team to deliver best-in-class aesthetics and visual competitiveness. Candidates with industry-recognized awards or featured portfolios are preferred.
• Drive cross-border, cross-regional collaboration with upstream and downstream multi-functional teams. Capable of aligning diverse stakeholders and managing design objectives across markets.

• Bachelor's degree or above in Digital Design, Visual Communication, or a related field. Strong written and spoken English is required for regional collaboration; multilingual capabilities (especially Malay or Chinese) are a plus.
• 3-5 years of professional experience in UI/Visual design for client-side products (native APPs, mobile applications). Proven track record of building or maintaining scalable visual systems and design languages is highly preferred.
