Work Timing

Roles & Responsibilities

a. Management of Resources

Conduct regular inventory management in the Science Laboratories, including stock-taking, replenishment, repairs, and replacement of equipment.

Assist the Head of Department (Science) in liaising with vendors on procurement matters related to laboratory inventory.

Ensure all resources in the Science Laboratories are well-organised and clearly labelled.

Support teachers in facilitating student discussions during laboratory sessions.

Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the Science Laboratories.

b. Preparation of Resources

Coordinate and manage loan requests from teachers for laboratory resources.

Prepare and set up laboratory materials in accordance with the scheme of work and teachers’ specifications.

Handle printing and photocopying tasks in the Printing Room.

Prepare teaching aids, including cutting and laminating materials, for use in the Science Laboratories.

Administrative Duties

Provide support for ad-hoc administrative tasks and assist in the preparation of resources as required by the school and/or department.

Working Hour
·      Mondays to Wednesdays only: 8:00am to 5:00pm, inclusive of 30mins lunch break

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of teaching and learning resources to support classroom instruction.
Support the preparation of materials for science experiments, and ensure the science laboratory is kept clean, organised, and safe.
Assist students in conducting science experiments under the supervision of Science teachers.
Provide administrative support to teachers, including the preparation of students’ achievement certificates and collation of survey responses.
Manage the loan and return of teaching resources, and prepare documentation for the disposal or condemnation of resources when required.
Provide front-desk customer service, including handling walk-in and telephone enquiries from parents as needed.
Assist with school printing and reproduction duties as required.
Qualifications, skills, and experience

• At least GCE N-Level
• At least two (2) years of experience in providing teaching support;
• At least two (2) years of experience in reception duties or equivalent administrative roles.
• Candidates with prior experience working in a local school environment will be preferred.

Personnel to be deployed at the following hours:

• Mondays to Thursdays: 8:30am to 6:00pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break

• Fridays: 9:00am to 6:00pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break

• Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays

Qualification, Skill & Experience
The Personnel shall minimally have obtained ‘A level’ qualifications or its equivalent, and should preferably have the following skills and experience:

• Experience Working in front counter services
• At lease 3 years of experience in administration
• Proficient in IT environment, MS Office, Whatapps Chat,
• Good communication and inter-personal skills
• Good team player with a high level of initiative
• Able to Multitask, Good Social skills & Problem solving
  

Roles & Responsibilities

1.Reception Duties

• Manage school front counter services and ensure smooth daily operations
• Attend to visitors, parents, staff, and students, addressing enquiries and needs professionally
• Handle phone enquiries and complaints in a timely and courteous manner
• Take accurate messages and ensure they are relayed to the appropriate staff
• Transfer calls efficiently to relevant personnel
• Maintain office inventory, including stationery and administrative supplies
• Receive, sort, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail
• Oversee the lost and found process
• Manage loan records of school items (e.g., uniforms, umbrellas)
• Provide general administrative support to the administration office
• Perform data entry and other duties as assigned

2.Student Service Duties

• Manage student early release processes, including proper documentation and parent communication
• Coordinate effectively between Form Teachers and the Student Management Team (SMT) regarding student movements
• Monitor and track student attendance, late arrivals, and CCA participation
• Provide real-time attendance updates to support the SMT
• Handle student cellphone confiscation procedures in accordance with school policies
• Assist with documentation for sick bay visits, ambulance cases, and incident reports
• Manage issuance of student lift passes
