Job Position: Accounting cum Admin Assistant Manager

Job Summary:

 Lead the accounting function by preparing accurate financial reports, enhancing internal controls, managing month-end closes, and coordinating audits. Supervise and develop accounting and administrative staff to drive operational excellence and compliance.

Responsibilities

1.    Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal and regulatory standards

2.    Develop, implement, and maintain internal controls, financial policies, inventory management, and procedures to improve operational efficiency

3.    Manage the month-end closing process, including general ledger reconciliations, account analysis, and inventory verification to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting

4.    Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring all tax filings and regulatory reports are completed accurately and submitted on time

5.    Handling office administration, documentation, filing, and managing daily operational tasks.

Preferred competencies and qualifications

1.    Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

2.    At least 5 years of working experience in accounting or related field.

3.    Accounting related certification is preferred.

4.    Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills Demonstrated leadership abilities with strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and effective communication skills

Role Overview

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will manage the activities of the audit and compliance function to provide corporate governance & enterprise risks support to our internal stakeholders across our multidisciplinary business and provide advisory on matters relating to corporate governance, regulatory and our commercial endeavours. 

Responsibilities

·       Oversee and manage audit, compliance and enterprise risks matters for the Group and its subsidiaries.

·       Conduct compliance testing and monitoring.

·       Identify, report and escalate risks, issues and control enhancements.

·       Provide ongoing compliance advisory and support to key business units/entities.

·       Monitor changes to regulatory requirements to mitigate risks and achieving compliance.

A. Accounts & Finance

. Perform full sets of accounts such as AR, AP, Bank Reconciliation, Accruals, Prepayments, Deposits, Journal Entries, Disbursement and others for Group of Companies
. Prepare and monitor cash flow forecast, budgeting and forecasting
. Manage and oversee overall accounting functions of Finance and Accounts department to ensure smooth operation of the department
. Preparation of full set of Management Reports and Financial Statements for selected companies in the Group such as Statement of Financial Position, Statement of Comprehensive Income, Statement of Changes in Equity, Cash Flow Statement and disclosure notes in accordance to IFRS Standards.
. Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations, handle intercompany transactions based on the company reporting timelines
. Performance of basic financial analysis (e.g. Actual versus Prior Year / Budgets) on main P&L line items for discussion with management on a monthly basis
. Preparation of accurate and timely tax and audit submissions as well as being the main point of contact for all tax (GST, Corporate Tax, Property Tax, etc.) and statutory audit matters
. Mentor, guide and train junior staff members on accounting procedures and software usage

Job Requirements:

.Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business or ACCA Qualification
.More than 5 years of relevant working experience
