Responsibilities:

• Handle full set of accounts, prepare management accounts and audit schedules
• Review subsidiary accounts and analyse variance
• Liaise with external auditor on audit matters and audit schedules

Duties and Responsibilities 

• List the primary job duties and responsibilities 
• Prepare and issue Local Accounts Receivable Statements of Account upon completion of account closing activities in a timely and accurate manner. 
• Generate and maintain Console Invoice Numbers within the SAP system, ensuring proper documentation and system accuracy. 
• Liaise with customers to follow up on outstanding invoices, including resolving discrepancies, missing invoices, and dispute-related queries. 
• Perform daily allocation of incoming funds, including proper categorization, reconciliation, and timely updating of collections in the SAP system. 
• Conduct monthly AR aging analysis, actively monitor overdue accounts, and follow up to ensure effective and timely collections. 
• Monitor commission receipts from Sompo Insurance and ensure accurate allocation and distribution to the respective divisions. 
• Participate in the team’s buddy system by providing backup support for absent team members to ensure continuity of AR operations. 
• Provide support to the Operations team by addressing and resolving billing-related issues in a timely manner. 
• Create and maintain customer master data and charge code requests in AS400 & SAP as submitted by the Operations team, ensuring data integrity and compliance. 
• Undertake ad hoc tasks and assignments as delegated by the Supervisor or Head of Department (HOD).

Requirment

•  Diploma in Accountancy / Business Finance  
• Three (3) years of hands-on experience in accounting on Account Receivable and keeping full set of accounts 
• Experience in both shared service and freight forwarding & logistics 
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word and SAP accounting system 
• Strong verbal and written communication skills 
• Independent, meticulous and good team player 
• Able to multi-task, work under pressure and meet tight reporting deadlines

Job Description

• Manage daily AP Team operations. 
• Review  accounts payable (AP) payments.
• Review monthly statement of account reconciliation. 
• Post AP transactions / journal entries including accruals, reclassifications, and bank transactions. 
• Reconcile and follow-up on monthly internal division transactions and their settlements. 
• Troubleshoot TenderBoard GRN errors and review the report for SAP posting.  
• Review & approve all the AP related documents / payment vouchers. 
• Review & finalize quarterly GST reports (Form 5 IRAS) for submission and provide MES renewal support.  
• Monitor monthly account closing and ensure all the expenses are completely recorded. 
• Analyze monthly profit & loss report fluctuation for all divisions. 
• Monitor balance sheet items and follow-up with the respective PIC on outstanding items.  
• Review manual invoices for related entities to recover expenses under special arrangements. 
• Assist with treasury functions including cash flow analysis and renewal of bank guarantees. 
• Provide support to team members and operations staff with AP-related issues and advice on accounting codes. 
• Support the portfolio of other team members through a buddy system. 
• Handle internal and external audits.  
• Perform ad-hoc assignments as requested by the Manager / HOD. 

Requirment

• Degree in Accountancy / Business Finance  
• Five (5) years of hands-on experience in accounting on Accounts Payable and keeping full set of accounts 
• Basic tax (GST) knowledge 
• Experience in both shared service and freight forwarding & logistics 
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word and SAP accounting system 
• Strong verbal and written communication skills 
• Independent, meticulous and good team player
• Able to multi-task, work under pressure and meet tight reporting deadlines
