As an Audit Associate, reporting to the Audit Manager, you will:
- Assist with audit planning and fieldwork, including research, documentation, and coordination.
- Perform AML procedures and assist in setting up audit files using Caseware.
- Send out confirmation and PBC requests (with oversight from senior team members).
- Complete assigned sections of audit files such as cash, expenses, capital, investments, and realised gains/losses.
- Prepare and maintain high-quality audit workpapers to support audit reports.
- Conduct testing of key controls, perform process walkthroughs, and document narratives.
- Carry out TOT and reference checks on financial statements to ensure accuracy.
- Learn to prepare clear and accurate Excel workings for audit testing.
- Gain client exposure through participation in calls and collaboration with engagement teams.
