Huraian Peranan

Ini merupakan peranan sepenuh masa di tapak untuk Jurutera Wap yang terletak di Kulai. Jurutera Wap akan bertanggungjawab untuk operasi, pemantauan dan penyelenggaraan sistem dandang tiub air 20 tan, bagi memastikan bekalan stim yang selamat, cekap dan berterusan untuk keperluan pengeluaran.

Peranan ini merangkumi analisis isu teknikal, mendiagnosis dan menyelesaikan cabaran operasi, serta melaksanakan penyelesaian yang berkesan untuk mengoptimumkan prestasi sistem dandang dan stim. Jurutera Stim juga akan bertanggungjawab untuk menyelesaikan masalah peralatan, menjalankan penyelenggaraan pencegahan, dan memastikan semua sistem beroperasi mengikut peraturan keselamatan dan keperluan DOSH/JKKP.

Di samping itu, peranan ini memerlukan pengekalan rekod operasi yang betul, memastikan pematuhan kepada prosedur operasi standard dan bekerjasama dengan pasukan kejuruteraan dan pengeluaran dalam projek penyelenggaraan dan penambahbaikan untuk menyokong kecekapan dan kebolehpercayaan loji secara keseluruhan.

Kelayakan

1. Mempunyai sijil kecekapan Jurutera Wap (DOSH/JKKP) yang sah – wajib
2. Ijazah Sarjana Muda/Diploma dalam Kejuruteraan Mekanikal atau bidang teknikal berkaitan (diutamakan)
3. Minimum 3–5 tahun pengalaman amali dalam operasi dandang perindustrian, khususnya sistem dandang tiub air 20 tan
4. Pengetahuan yang kukuh dalam sistem penjanaan stim, operasi dandang, saling kunci keselamatan dan kawalan rawatan air
5. Pengalaman terbukti dalam pemantauan dandang, penyelesaian masalah dan penyelenggaraan pencegahan di loji dandang berkapasiti tinggi
6. Biasa dengan peraturan DOSH/JKKP, piawaian keselamatan OSHA dan keperluan pematuhan berkanun
7. Mampu membaca dan mentafsir lukisan teknikal, P&ID dan manual operasi dandang
8. Kemahiran analitikal yang kuat dengan perhatian yang tinggi terhadap keselamatan, kecekapan dan kebolehpercayaan peralatan
9. Mampu bekerja dalam syif, bertindak balas terhadap kerosakan kecemasan, dan menyokong operasi kilang yang berterusan (persekitaran 24/7 jika diperlukan)
10. Kerja berpasukan dan kemahiran komunikasi yang baik dengan pasukan pengeluaran dan penyelenggaraan

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Steam Engineer located in Kulai. The Steam Engineer will be responsible for the operation, monitoring, and maintenance of a 20-ton water tube boiler system, ensuring safe, efficient, and continuous steam supply for production needs.

The role includes analyzing technical issues, diagnosing and resolving operational challenges, and implementing effective solutions to optimize boiler and steam system performance. The Steam Engineer will also be responsible for troubleshooting equipment, carrying out preventive maintenance, and ensuring all systems operate in compliance with safety regulations and DOSH/JKKP requirements.

In addition, the role requires maintaining proper operational records, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures, and collaborating with engineering and production teams on maintenance and improvement projects to support overall plant efficiency and reliability.

Qualification

1. Possess valid Steam Engineer competency certificate (DOSH/JKKP) – mandatory
2. Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field (preferred)
3. Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in industrial boiler operation, specifically 20-ton water tube boiler system
4. Strong knowledge in steam generation system, boiler operation, safety interlocks, and water treatment control
5. Proven experience in boiler monitoring, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance in high-capacity boiler plant
6. Familiar with DOSH/JKKP regulations, OSHA safety standards, and statutory compliance requirements
7. Able to read and interpret technical drawings, P&ID, and boiler operation manuals
8. Strong analytical skills with high attention to safety, efficiency, and equipment reliability
9. Able to work in shifts, respond to emergency breakdowns, and support continuous plant operation (24/7 environment if required)
10. Good teamwork and communication skills with production and maintenance teams
