Job Summary

Due to K2's expansion, APAC technical and delivery team is looking to hire an Assistant Project Manager (Electrical) to support external design team management and design review work. This person will be working closely with SG HQ based PM to handle the daily design related issues for existing and future projects in APAC region.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager or Site Delivery Manager in data centre design and construction phases for site management and construction quality control.
• Monitor construction activities closely on a regular basis and ensure the data centre facility is built to group's standard.
• Responsible for the review and approval of design consultant’s work to ensure design documents are sufficiently developed with all necessary engineering calculations in place.
• Responsible for communicating with design consultants to ensure all required deliverables are achieved.
• Responsible for maintaining K2 internal engineering standard with particular focus on HVAC and plumbing systems.
• Support project commissioning and final handover activities.
• Support of K2 internal engineering design and development activities.
• Establish engineering and operation procedures following K2 standard.

Requirements

• 5 years’ minimum working experience in building services design and construction project delivery (data centre projects preferred).
• Bachelor’s in Electrical or Building Services Engineering
• Chartered Engineer/relevant Uptime/TIA certificates is preferred
• Good knowledge in Electrical HV/LV distribution Engineering with a good understanding on data centre project and protection study
• Proficiency in MS Office (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc) with experience in Mechanical HVAC software, such as IES.
• Good command of written and spoken English. Additional language such as Chinese/Bahasa Indonesia/Malaysia/Thai will be an added advantage to liaise with overseas counterparts

- Begin with buzzer clearing and food runner duties
- Complete thorough menu learning and storytelling training
- Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of all menu items

2. STATION MANAGEMENT
- Manage entire station independently with minimal supervision
- Handle multiple tables simultaneously with efficiency
- Maintain high service standards throughout shift

3. SALES & CUSTOMER ENGAGEMENT
- Drive upselling through menu knowledge and recommendations
- Engage authentically with every customer at assigned station
- Tell compelling stories about dishes, ingredients, and Korean dining culture
- Create memorable dining experiences that encourage repeat visits

4. MENTORSHIP & TEAM DEVELOPMENT
- Buddy and train new entry-level servers
- Share menu knowledge and service techniques

Job Specifications:

• Minimum 1 year of relevant restaurant experience OR internal certification as a Server after successful completion of at least 3 months of employment.

Job Description

• To assist in menu development from sourcing of ingredients to the final plating. Innovation, uniqueness and current trends should be take into consideration so as to meet current market demands.

• To source for high quality and fresh ingredients as well as cooking instruments required.

• Ensure that usage of ingredients are optimised, and that food wastage in the restaurant is kept at a minimal.

• Cost management and budgeting

• Tasting of final dishes to provide constructive comments to elevate quality.

• To educate fellow kitchen staff on best practices, culinary knowledge as well as techniques. Hygiene and food safety practices are also required.

• To educate front-of-house staff on recommendations to be suggested to customers, such as best food and beverage pairings.

• Provide feedback on the overall ambience and layout of the restaurant so as to ensure performance efficiency and customer satisfaction
