The Account Director, Partnerships is an account leadership role within 160/90, based in Singapore and sitting within the Client Services team. This role leads a portfolio of key client accounts across Asia-Pacific, driving strategic direction, commercial growth, and the delivery of best-in-class sports and entertainment partnership programmes.
You will act as the senior strategic lead across your accounts, building trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, bringing a deep expertise across sponsorship strategy and activation delivery, ensuring all resulting work from the team is executed to the highest standards.
You will oversee complex, multi-market programmes end-to-end, managing internal teams, rights holders, and vendors to deliver seamless activations. In parallel, you will be responsible for account performance and contribute to new business opportunities across the region.

Key Responsibilities
·      Own senior client relationships, acting as the primary strategic advisor across client, rights holder, and partner stakeholders, while driving alignment across multiple business units and markets
·      Lead the development and delivery of partnership strategies and integrated campaigns, translating client objectives into effective sports partnership programmes
·      Oversee end-to-end campaign execution, ensuring alignment across strategy, creative, production, and on-site delivery, with consistent quality across all touchpoints
·      Provide expert guidance on sponsorship properties and rights integration, ensuring clients maximise value from partnerships and associated assets
·      Be responsible for account performance, including identifying growth opportunities to expand scope
·      Maintain full oversight of budgets, forecasting, and financial tracking, ensuring efficient resource allocation and adherence to targets
·      Ensure internal process excellence across project management, procurement, legal, CRM tracking, and vendor payments
·      Lead relationships with rights holders and vendors, ensuring deliverables are secured, aligned, and executed effectively
·      Define and oversee performance metrics, leading reporting, campaign recaps, and the translation of insights into future improvements
·      Lead and develop Account Managers and Executives, setting clear expectations, providing guidance, and fostering ahigh-performing team culture
·      Work seamlessly across internal teams, markets, and functions to deliver integrated, multi-market programmes
·      Maintain a strong understanding of the sports, entertainment, and sponsorship landscape across APAC, applying cultural and market insights to elevate client work
·      Champion best-in-class client servicing, proactively improving performance, strengthening relationships, and driving continuous improvement
This role is based in the Singapore 160/90 office from Mondays to Thursdays, with the option to work remotely on Fridays.
You will have:
·      A minimum of 7-8 years’ experience within the industry, preferably agency or client-based sponsorship account management experience. Ideally with sports experience.
·      Experience of managing a team with direct reports Â
·      Strong knowledge of, and a network of contacts within, the sports industryÂ
·      Proven ability to prioritize workflow, manage multiple projects and processed simultaneously and drive account success.
·      Prior experience in managing the development and implementation of sponsorship marketing strategy and activation on behalf of a client or companyÂ
·      Prior management of working with an integrated multi-agency Â
·      Prior experience managing day-to-day relationships with senior contacts client-side, agencies, and vendorsÂ
·      Understanding of, and practical experience with, event partnerships activation and guest managementÂ
·      Experience in managing multiple projects independently and diligently while delivering under time pressure towards pre-defined goalsÂ
·      Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with client management experience preferred     Â
·      Ability to think strategically and creatively, and to problem-solve independently and in groupsÂ
·      Ability to present confidently in pressured situations and in front of groupsÂ
