Job Description

Inform Owner of all change order requests and approvals.

Coordinate subcontractor’s work and material/equipment release to hit targeted installation dates.

Review internally and externally that all subcontractors/vendors are working off approved material documents and they are permitted to access site (badge, clearance, safety training, OSHA , insurance, contract/PO execution).

Supervise or coordinate supervision with Superintendent to ensure installations are conducted in a timely and safe manner.

Verify that appropriate training is in place for field personnel using equipment and for those signing off on scaffolding/stair towers.

Ensure Toolbox Talks are taking place.

Review labor and scheduling with Superintendent, site Foreman, and field crews.

Ensure project is completed safely, in time, within scope and on budget.

Request, process and submit closeout documents (O&Ms, warranties, training, attic stock).

Job Description – Events & Marketing Manager

Position Overview:

The Event & Marketing Manager is responsible for planning, organising, and executing marketing campaigns and events that promote the travel agency's products and services, enhance brand visibility, generate leads, and support sales growth. The role combines strategic marketing, event management, partnership development, and customer engagement to strengthen the company's market presence.

Marketing Strategy & Planning

• Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Manage the company's brand image and ensure consistent messaging across all marketing channels.
• Create and execute integrated marketing campaigns to promote travel packages, tours, cruises, and destination offerings.
• Monitor market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
• Manage marketing budgets and ensure cost-effective use of resources.

Event Planning & Management

• Plan, coordinate, and execute travel fairs, roadshows, travel talks events, product launches, seminars, webinars, and promotional activities.
• Manage event budgets, timelines, logistics, vendor negotiations, and sponsorship arrangements.
• Liaise with hotels, airlines, tourism boards, cruise lines, and other partners to organise successful events.
• Ensure smooth event operations and deliver exceptional attendee experiences.
• Evaluate event outcomes and prepare post-event reports with recommendations for improvement.

Team Leadership

• Lead and supervise marketing and event staff, where applicable.
• Coordinate activities with internal departments and external vendors.
• Provide guidance, training, and performance management for team members.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Tourism, Hospitality, Communications, Event Management, or a related field.

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, event management within a related industry.
• Proven track record of successfully managing marketing campaigns and events.

• Skills:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  Digital marketing and social media management.

  Strong time management, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

  Highly proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

• IT and internet savvy.

Creative, energetic and resourceful with strategic thinking capabilities.

• Self-motivated and organised.

Able to work independently and strategically.

Work Hours: Willingness to work extended hours and weekends as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage lithium trading activities (physical and derivatives)
• Oversee day-to-day operations and performance of the trading team
• Develop and implement trading strategies and sales initiatives
• Work closely with internal teams (operations, legal, finance) and external counterparties
• Identify and develop new business opportunities, suppliers, and trading structures
• Manage risk exposure, including market, credit, and counterparty risks
• Oversee hedge positions, P&L monitoring, and ensure compliance with internal controls
• Drive market intelligence efforts, including supply/demand analysis and industry insights
• Prepare budgets, reports, and support strategic planning initiatives

Requirements

• Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
• 15+ years of experience in commodities trading (physical and/or derivatives), preferably metals
• Proven experience in team leadership and stakeholder management
• Strong understanding of risk management, derivatives, and financial modelling
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to build and maintain industry relationships

• Curate and continually update the wine list, manage supplierrelationships, and ensure budget optimization
• Work closely with the Executive Chef to create harmonious,seasonal food and wine pairings.
• Engage with guests in the dining room, guide them through fine wine selections, and elevate their overall dining experience.
• Mentor, train, and appraise the junior sommelier and service team.
• Monitor beverage costs, track par levels, and perform regular cellar audits
