Job Description
- Manage general ledger, journal entry, accounts payable, and accounts receivable, including data entry, fixed assets, full set accounts.
- Reconcile bank accounts, vendor / customer statements, vendor / customer aging, ensuring all accounts are updated and balanced.
- Provides accounting & administrative support to finance manager.
- Filing accounts and admin related documents.
- Involved in month end accounts closing.
- Preparing, reviewing, and managing annual audits, and liaising with auditors, company secretary.
- Review summary / report of project prepared by project team.
- Preparing, reviewing and submitting SST reports.
- Communicate with customer & supplier for payment purposes when required, prepare payment for suppliers.
- Supervise / review assistant works to ensure accurate accounting data entry and timely reports.
General
- Provide fully support / assist to finance manager.
- Any other duties and ad-hoc tasks to be assigned from time to time.
- Month-End & Year-End Closing: Finalizing accounts for a specific period to ensure all transactions are properly recorded.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements.
Experience & Qualifications
- At least diploma in accounting.
- Minimum 3 years working experience in this position.
- Knowledge of MS Office ( MS Excel, Word, outlook )
- Highly committed and able to work independently within tight datelines.
- Punctuality, good attendance, responsible, good communication & independent.
- Required language: English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin is compulsory.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
- Experience using SQL Accounting system will be an advantage.
- Strong in accounting double entry.
