About the job

This role/job will be warehouse based and therefore not in a conventional office environment. This is a full-time permanent position and the role is primarily to help facilitate the smooth running of the warehouse operations activities.

The general duties will involve the following role:

*Perform cargo loading and unloading.

*To perform physical counts, tally and surface inspection of cargo upon receiving/delivery.

*To store cargoes in proper location assigned within the warehouse.

*To perform cargo issuance.

*Picking, packing and dispatch of cargo according to ownership and destinations.

Requirements

*Malaysians in age group 25-40.

*Punctual with positive work ethic.

*Physically fit with ability to lift and carry.

*Minimum qualification: SPM or Diploma in Supply Chain/Logistics Management or Business.

*Forklift license will be ideal, useful and beneficial.

*The ideal candidate for this role should be someone well organized with 2-3 years experience in warehouse operations, picking and packing ,customer services or similar environment preferred, and have the ability to communicate effectively with the team and customers.

*2-3 years of previous warehouse operations, especially in 3PL facility has a huge advantage and will be highly regarded.

*Hands on and hardworking with knowledge of both warehouse and logistics practices.

Pada masa ini, mereka mempunyai beberapa peluang pekerjaan dalam kerja-kerja operasi di kemudahan gudang mereka di Pelabuhan Utara dan Pelabuhan Barat di kawasan Pelabuhan Klang. Mereka sedang mencari pekerja gudang berpengalaman untuk menjalankan fungsi operasi gudang di Terminal Kontena mereka di Pelabuhan Utara (NDSB) dan Pelabuhan Barat di Pelabuhan Klang.

Kekosongan jawatan ini adalah jawatan tetap dan merupakan sebahagian daripada pasukan operasi gudang untuk menguruskan kargo/penghantaran yang telah diimport atau untuk dieksport.

Mengenai pekerjaan itu

Peranan/tugas ini akan berasaskan gudang dan oleh itu bukan dalam persekitaran pejabat konvensional. Ini adalah jawatan tetap sepenuh masa dan peranannya terutamanya untuk membantu memudahkan kelancaran aktiviti operasi gudang.

Tugas-tugas am akan melibatkan peranan berikut:

*Melakukan pemuatan dan pemunggahan kargo.

*Untuk menjalankan pengiraan fizikal, penjumlahan dan pemeriksaan permukaan kargo semasa penerimaan/penghantaran.

*Menyimpan kargo di lokasi yang betul yang ditetapkan di dalam gudang.

*Untuk melaksanakan pengeluaran kargo.

*Mengambil, membungkus dan menghantar kargo mengikut pemilikan dan destinasi.

Keperluan

*Rakyat Malaysia dalam kumpulan umur 23-38 tahun.

*Tepati masa dengan etika kerja yang positif.

*Cergas secara fizikal dan mampu mengangkat dan membawa barang.

*Kelayakan minimum: SPM atau Diploma dalam Pengurusan Rantaian Bekalan/Logistik atau Perniagaan.

*Lesen Forklift adalah ideal, berguna dan bermanfaat.

*Calon ideal untuk peranan ini mestilah seseorang yang teratur dengan pengalaman 2-3 tahun dalam operasi gudang, pengambilan dan pembungkusan, khidmat pelanggan atau persekitaran yang serupa, dan mempunyai keupayaan untuk berkomunikasi secara berkesan dengan pasukan dan pelanggan.

*2-3 tahun operasi gudang sebelumnya, terutamanya di kemudahan 3PL mempunyai kelebihan yang besar dan akan sangat dihormati.

*Berkemahiran dan rajin dengan pengetahuan tentang amalan gudang dan logistik.

*Mahir berkomunikasi dalam Bahasa Malaysia dan Bahasa Inggeris.

Calon yang ingin dipertimbangkan untuk peranan ini mesti bersedia ditempatkan dalam persekitaran gudang dan mempunyai pengangkutan sendiri agar mudah diakses ke kawasan Pelabuhan Utara/Pelabuhan Barat.

The hiring company

This is a integrated transport and logistics company, providing international freight forwarding and logistics services across Asia, Australia and Europe/America continents. Currently they have several job openings in the operations works at their warehouse facilities at the North Port and West Port in Port Klang area. They are looking for experienced warehouse workers to undertake the warehouse operations functions at their Container Terminal at North Port (NDSB) and West Port in Port Klang.

The vacancies are permanent positions and form part of the warehouse operations team to manage the cargo/shipments that have have been imported or to be exported.

About the job

This role/job will be warehouse based and therefore not in a conventional office environment. This is a full-time permanent position and the role is primarily to help facilitate the smooth running of the warehouse operations activities.

The general duties will involve the following role:

*Perform cargo loading and unloading.

*To perform physical counts, tally and surface inspection of cargo upon receiving/delivery.

*To store cargoes in proper location assigned within the warehouse.

*To perform cargo issuance.

*Picking, packing and dispatch of cargo according to ownership and destinations.

Requirements

*Malaysians in age group 23-38.

*Punctual with positive work ethic.

*Physically fit with ability to lift and carry.

*Minimum qualification: SPM or Diploma in Supply Chain/Logistics Management or Business.

*Forklift license will be ideal, useful and beneficial.

*The ideal candidate for this role should be someone well organized with 2-3 years experience in warehouse operations, picking and packing ,customer services or similar environment preferred, and have the ability to communicate effectively with the team and customers.

*2-3 years of previous warehouse operations, especially in 3PL facility has a huge advantage and will be highly regarded.

*Hands on and hardworking with knowledge of both warehouse and logistics practices.

*Proficient with ability to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Candidates who wish to be considered for this role must be willing to be based within warehouse environment and have own means of transport to be accessible to North Port/West Port area.

Currently they are seeking to recruit an Accounting Officer for their Malaysian business operations based at their corporate business head office at Kelana Jaya in Petaling Jaya. 

Roles & Responsibilities

This position will encompass both Accounts payable and receivable functions. 

As Accounting Officer, your overall objective will be to work with the finance team with primarily responsible being day to day execution and management of AP and AR portfolio in the department.

The main responsibility will involve the following scope:

-Manage AP and foreign currency payments.

-Manage AR and credit control.

-General Ledger and balance sheet reconciliation.

-Liaising with operations and other departments to gather financial information and to enter these information into operational and finance system.

-Assist with month end, quarterly end and year end audit requirements.

-Prepare month end journal.

-Prepare cash flow forecasts/analysis on daily/monthly basis.

-Bank reconciliation, including multi-currency reconciliation.

-Ensure company debtor accounts are paid as per trading terms.

-Conduct credit checks on new customers.

-Issue monthly statement.

-Prepare reports on debtors ledger.

Requirements for the role

-Malaysian age below 35.

-Possess minimum LCCI Diploma qualification in Accounting.

-2-3 years experience in handling accounting functions, ideally in similar logistics sector industry.

-Experience in reconciling general ledger accounts and foreign currency transactions would be an advantage.

-Prior experience using CargoWise advantageous. 

-Intermediate Excel skills.

-Highly professional work approach and ability to tight deadlines.

-Must be proficient in written and oral English plus conversant in BM and advantageous if also Mandarin.

Remuneration is negotiable and will be based on the experience and capability of successful candidate.
