Sales:

• Be part of the Sales Cycle process from Data Mining, building leads, relationship building to support actual selling and continuous development of future sales opportunities
• Achieving revenue targets together with Sales Team towards business goals
• Generate leads through various channels, prepare compelling sales pitches and presentations
• Assist in building and maintaining client relationships in a professional manner.

Marketing:

• Assist in the development and execution of various event marketing campaigns.
• Create engaging marketing collateral (e.g., brochures, website content, social media posts).
• Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities.
• Analyze campaign performance and provide data-driven recommendations for improvement.
• Engaged in Customer Relationship Management.

Event Planning and Operations:

• Support the design of the Event experience in line with of the portfolio strategy 
• Develop deep industry knowledge through internal and external relationships
• Negotiate with venues and suppliers together with Operations and Procurement for Event specific requirements
• Contribute to logistics planning and execution for events.
• Provide on-site support during events, ensuring smooth operations.
• Assist with event management tasks, including vendor coordination and attendee registration.

Qualifications

Who are we looking for?

• Recent graduate (within the past 1 year) with a degree in Sales and Marketing, Journalism, Media, CRM, Event Management, Business Administration, Global Business or a related field.
• Passionate about the event industry with a strong desire to build a career in event project management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with Salesforce, Autocad, Oracle is a plus.
• Excellent in written and spoken English. Competency in other languages will be an advantage.

Job purpose:

The 18-month Graduate Trainee programme is designed for recent graduates to gain broad experience in the CC Lending Asia Team in Singapore. The graduate trainee will support members of the Lending team in Asia in originating, structuring, and executing relevant business within the framework of the bank’s strategy. The role requires the graduate trainee to closely cooperate and align their activities not only with the Lending team, but also with other departments and segments of the bank.

Key activities:

• To support in the analysis and evaluation of new corporate lending transactions for assigned portfolio to determine appropriate pricing, distribution potential, and submission to the appropriate approval body.
• To assist the team in conducting transaction-related due diligence, risk and sector analysis, and support in preparing relevant parts of the NTA and ISC processes
• To help source market intelligence, market data, credentials
• To prepare client pitches and internal group presentations
• To assist in reviewing legal documentation
• To support in preparation of internal reporting e.g. pipeline reports, reporting for committees and to management
• To provide administrative support (e.g. expense management, scheduling of meetings), transaction and client monitoring (e.g. client outreach and portfolio assessment)

Formal education:

• Recent graduates with not more than 1 year of professional work experience (excluding internships)
• University degree, preferably in banking, finance, economics, business administration, law, or related studies.

Specialist knowledge (work experience, further qualification):

• Strong analytical and numerical skills (ideally with a good understanding of general accounting standards and financial analysis fundamentals, such as calculating financial ratios)
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English
• Fluency in other major Asian languages are a positive addition to communicate with clients and internal stakeholders
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
