Concrete Plant Technician – Job Scope
- Perform routine inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting for batching plant machinery and equipment.
- Ensure concrete batching plant operates smoothly and efficiently at all times.
- Repair and service electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Monitor plant performance and identify any operational issues or breakdowns.
- Carry out preventive maintenance according to maintenance schedule.
- Coordinate with plant operators and production team to minimize downtime.
- Maintain and troubleshoot control panel, sensors, motors, and batching system.
- Ensure calibration and accuracy of weighing and batching equipment.
- Record maintenance activities, repair works, and spare parts usage.
- Ensure plant machinery complies with safety and operational standards.
- Assist in installation, testing, and commissioning of new plant equipment.
- Respond immediately to emergency breakdowns and technical issues.
- Monitor spare parts inventory and report shortages when necessary.
- Maintain housekeeping and cleanliness of workshop and plant area.
- Follow company SOP, safety regulations, and site requirements.
