• Perform general Field Service activities on site including preventative maintenance, machine overhauls, machine inspections with spare part recommendations, fault finding and line performance optimization.
• Supporting the assembly and testing of new machines at our manufacturing sites around the globe up to FAT (where necessary).
• Supporting the installation and commissioning of new machines at the customers’ site up to SAT. Providing customer training and updating of the technical documentation.
• Giving the customers technical advice on site or via remote support. Clarifying problems and solutions with the manufacturing plants where necessary.

• Preparing all necessary tools, equipment and technical documentation before going to site. Attending customer meetings at the beginning and end of an intervention. Following up on any open topics until closed to the customers’ satisfaction.
• Additional role of a Senior FSE: Performing site management. Supervision and training of other Field Service Engineers.
