Job Summary

You will produce high-quality electronic and hard copy documents to support legal professionals by working independently and collaboratively using various software and office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Handle confidential documents with care to ensure security and accuracy during document production

Part A - Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

• Perform internal audits and to ensure organization is in compliance to internal processes and airworthiness regulatory requirements.
• Improve / enhance internal processes through scheduled / unscheduled /surveillance audits.
• Maintain and keep up-to-date Quality manuals and training records.
• Assist and perform external supplier audits.
• Assist in external airworthiness authority and customer audits.
• Follow-up with process owners to ensure prompt and appropriate corrective actions are duly completed.
• Monitoring open audit findings, including monitoring the execution and the intended effectiveness of the actions and the monitoring of corrective action plans.
• Liaise with customers / vendors / suppliers on non-conformance activities, perform root cause analysis and determine effective corrective actions to reduce or eliminate the cost of poor quality.
• Conduct internal briefing / training for certifying staff and technicians as necessary.
• Assist in maintaining the approved suppliers list.
• Processing and monitoring of company authorization renewal and applications.
• The maintenance of quality documents and systems such as QA Manuals and database management of the quality management system.
• Drive and promote Quality and Safety Culture and participate in QEHS and other shop initiatives as necessary.
• Liaise with customers / vendors / suppliers on non-conformance activities, perform root cause analysis and determine effective corrective actions to reduce or eliminate the cost of poor quality.
• To carry-out other QA functions as required.

Part B. Required Experience, Competencies & Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Engineering from an accredited polytechnic (or equivalent).
• Minimum 2-3years’ experience in aerospace quality (management) systems or a quality assurance role.
• Knowledge of aviation regulation such as Part 145 EASA, FAA, CASA, SMS and AS9100.
• Knowledge of and experience with aircraft / component (parts) maintenance.
• Internal auditor trained with auditing experience is preferred. 
• Proficiency with PC tools and software.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Being able to work independently and good analytical skills.
• Able to communicate at all levels of the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Operations Support Assistant supports clients/ student care, cleaning, school operations, events, and basic administrative tasks within Fernvale Gardens School.

• Client / Student Care (Special-to-type cleaning)
• Operational Support Events & Activities
• Assist to Maintain Facilities
• Assist with Vector Control
• Operational Support to School
• Simple Admin Tasks

Key Tasks:

• Clean students who soil themselves
• Clean soiled area -
• Manage students' lost-and-found corner
• Open and close the school General Office
• Cover school security duties during Security Officer's lunch-break
• Upkeep sensitive areas (e.g. General Office and P/VP rooms)
• Mann the school when there is weekend maintenance / repair works
• Upkeep of notice-boards
• Oversee sorting and storage of school materials and resources
• Store, shift and maintain school furniture (e.g. tables, desks and chairs
• Assist to respond to fire alarm / incidents (e.g. as fire wardens)
• Maintain cleanliness of MINDS school van/mini-bus (*where applicable)
• Help students safely alight and board buses and accompany them to the holding area upon arrival at the school
• Set up of seating/tables for events
• Put up/remove decorations for special festivities and events
• Packing and distribution of items for programmes and events
• Arrange refreshments for meetings and functions
• Attend to simple faults and repairs
• Assist in facility inspections and reporting, including safety checks, faults and defects
• Assist in simple landscape maintenance
• Assist in looking after school set-ups (e.g. fish aquarium, terrarium, hydroponics farm structure)
• Sorting, packing and shredding of documents
• Simple filing of documents - Simple data entry
• Any adhoc duties assigned by the Reporting Officer

The Assistant Engineer (Quality), leads daily quality control operations, ensuring precision, compliance and efficiency across production processes. Responsibilities include developing and refining inspection methods, programming and optimizing CMM and vision systems, defining acceptance criteria and verifying First Articles and production parts. The role also supports measurement traceability, automation workflows and documentation to maintain full AS9100 compliance, while preparing customer quality reports and assisting in both internal and external audits. In addition to these leadership and technical duties, the role involves hands-on operation and calibration of measuring equipment during daily quality activities to guarantee accuracy and reliability.

Required Competencies:

• Proficient in GD&T, mechanical drawings and metrology tools
• Skilled in CMM and/or vision scope programming and troubleshooting
• Knowledge of AS9100/ ISO 9001 and quality documentation formats will be advantages
• Strong organizational and file management skills for traceability
• Able to train and guide inspectors while ensuring documentation integrity
• Confident in preparing basic quality reports for customer-facing use
• Able to understand and communicate in English & Mandarin for daily quality operations & reporting

Qualifications:

• Nitec in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Quality Engineering or equivalent
• Candidate without formal academic qualifications, may be considered if they have relevant or past similar work experience
• 3 years of experience in inspection or quality control in precision machining environment
• Experience with inspection automation systems and measurement programming tools
• Capable of independent judgment in final inspection and verification tasks

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance, inspections, minor cleaning, assembly/disassembly, and troubleshooting in accordance with Component Maintenance Manuals and company procedures.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of work orders to support the production schedule at the cell level.
• Collaborate closely with supervisors and support teams to resolve technical and operational issues.
• Accurately update and manage repair cost estimates.
• Proficiently use measuring tools including torque wrenches, calipers, micrometers, and bore/depth gauges.
• Ensure compliance with all Environment, Health & Safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintain strict compliance with local regulations and corporate requirements, particularly in the areas of Ethics, EHS, and International Trade Compliance.
• Participate actively in continuous improvement initiatives related to safety, quality, and efficiency.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of aviation maintenance experience,
• NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electronics, or Aerospace disciplines).
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and service documents.
• Strong computer skills (SAP knowledge preferred).
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Candidates without prior aviation experience are welcome to apply—training will be provided for junior roles.
