We are looking for a Software Engineer to join a growing Singapore hub and play a key role in building and enhancing internal business systems, digital platforms, and data applications that support R&D, operations, quality and commercial teams.
This is a key technical role focused on developing scalable software solutions that improve operational efficiency, enable data-driven decision-making, and support ongoing digital transformation across the organisation, including internal systems (such as CRM/ERP-like platforms and workflow tools).
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop and maintain internal business systems and applications (e.g. workflow tools, CRM/ERP-like platforms, operational systems)
• Build digital solutions that streamline processes across R&D, operations, quality and commercial functions
• Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions
• Support integration of systems and databases across different business functions and platforms
• Automate manual workflows and business processes to improve operational efficiency across departments
• Manage data flow, storage and integrity across internal systems
• Support digitalisation of product, testing and operational data to improve traceability and system integration
• Troubleshoot, debug and continuously improve existing applications and systems
• Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement through technology
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline
• Experience in software development (backend, full-stack or systems development)
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C#, JavaScript or similar
• Strong understanding of databases (SQL) and data modelling
• Experience building web applications, APIs or internal enterprise tools
• Ability to work with non-technical stakeholders to gather and translate requirements
• Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
• Experience in internal systems, workflow tools or enterprise applications is a plus
