The Global Foreign Exchange (GFX) business is looking to hire an experienced risk-manager for FX Derivatives in Singapore. The person will be an integral part of the Global Foreign Exchange business in Asia Pacific.

Key Responsibilities:
As a FX Derivatives Trader you will be responsible for:
- Managing portfolio risk-management for Asia and CEEMEA Emerging Markets FX Derivatives global portfolios in the Asia time-zone
- Oversee execution of client transactions and hedges across wide range of foreign-exchange markets
- Quoting the bank’s franchise in the region across a wide range of currencies and derivative products
- Meeting with institutional and corporate clients alongside Sales to maintain and develop the bank’s franchise in the Asia Pacific region
- Work closely with Sales and Structuring to identify and nurture new opportunities and relationships with institutional and corporate clients
- Embark on project and development initiatives to continually improve efficiency in our pricing, risk management and trade execution processes
Candidate requirements:
To be successful in this role you will have:
- 2-5 years of prior work experience in Asia and CEEMEA Emerging Markets FX Derivatives trading
- Quantitative trading techniques for FX Derivative portfolios in both developed and emerging markets
- Experience in an array of currencies including Emerging Markets, G10 and derivative products ranging from vanilla to exotic FX options
- Experience in quoting and understanding German corporate clients FX derivatives needs
- Specialty in Emerging Markets currencies & experience in managing complex structured products such as barrier derivatives, volatility swaps
- Commercial focus, ability to take initiatives, and skills to solve complex business problems
- Ability to articulate ideas confidently and concisely
- Ability to communicate in verbal and written English and German language as the role requires the individual to liaise with German speaking clients.
