Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Business Analyst to join our consulting team. In this role, you will work closely with clients, product teams, and delivery colleagues to define, analyse, and shape business and technology solutions.

You will bring strong business analysis fundamentals, hands-on Agile delivery experience, and the ability to operate confidently with senior stakeholders. This role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and enjoys solving complex business problems.

Key Responsibilities

• · Lead end-to-end business analysis activities across discovery, design, and delivery phases, including facilitating workshops and stakeholder sessions.
• · Engage, influence, and advise senior stakeholders, including policy makers and C-suite representatives.
• · Elicit, analyse, and document requirements using user stories, process maps, and supporting artefacts to build and refine product backlogs.
• · Perform root cause analysis and translate business needs into clear, actionable solution designs and system specifications.
• · Conduct options analysis, feasibility assessments, and contribute to solution recommendations.
• · Analyse and help shape AI and data-driven use cases in collaboration with technical and data teams.
• · Manage stakeholders across all levels—from executive sponsors to delivery teams—both internally and client-side.
• · Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) across all testing phases to ensure solutions meet business needs and are release-ready.

Objective

To assist with the execution of marketing research studies by compiling, analyzing, and interpreting marketing research data, writing client reports, and constructing presentations.  

Accountabilities

We are looking for someone to develop and manage Nielsen BASES business and client relationships by designing, selling, executing, and presenting market research studies to meet clients’ research objectives, and are building a talent pipeline for the same. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Client Consulting:

1. Trusted partner: Understand the client needs, deliver with excellence, make an impact

2. Drive client satisfaction by providing insights and actionable recommendations during presentations or business reviews

3. Attend client planning meetings and contribute by providing Nielsen insights and solutions to the client’s business needs.

3. Communication with mid-level clients on their research queries

4. Able to handle presentations with mid level clients or audiences

5. Crisis management: Able to tackle some of the client communication, particularly with mid-level clients.  

6. Taking ownership of project in terms of client relation as well as consulting / partnering with client through the project life cycle  

7. Ensure all presentations done by reports tell a clear story, provide insights and actionable recommendations  
 
Commercial Leadership:

1. Be proactive at collecting client business questions, active listening to understand the question behind the question  

2. Proactively follow-up with the client on proposals, designs, costs

3. Set up action plan, forecast and monitor regularly the revenue   

Project Management:

1. Proactively identify and address client issues and needs.  

2. Stays in loop on all stages of project management and monitors progress  

3. Ensure the services provided to clients are timely and precise according to client business needs and specifications while meeting the company's quality standards
