Due to significant contract awards within our ANZ Water business, we are expanding our Water Infrastructure Team in South East Queensland (SEQ).

The Water Infrastructure group provides services to a range of internal and external clients on projects covering water and wastewater treatment, dams, asset management, major conveyance, industrial, civil infrastructure, mining, and defence sectors, with a key focus on supporting sustainable outcomes for our clients and the communities they serve. 

We are looking for a senior or principal level electrical engineer to join the team. By joining our team, you will have access to mentoring and guidance from our industry leading experts. You will also have the opportunity to work and collaborate with interstate and international offices.

How you’ll make a difference

• You will be involved in electrical engineering works associated with pumping stations and equipment, water and wastewater treatment plants, ventilation, fire protection and HVAC systems
• Contribute to the delivery of electrical design packages for projects across QLD and beyond
• From a technical perspective, you will be responsible for:
  • Electrical systems design including instrumentation, power distribution, control and communications;
  • Technical studies including modelling and computational analysis;
  • Electrical project cost estimating;
  • Computer aided drafting.
• Depending on your level, contribute to and lead the preparation of proposals, design schedules, budgets and technical and commercial submissions for bid proposals associated with electrical work for external clients.
• Mentor junior members of the team.

Specifically:

• Assist in the design of intersections, access roads, car parks, and service vehicle facilities
• Support the preparation of concept, functional, and detailed designs
• Contribute to technical reports, drawings, and documentation
• Work alongside project teams to support project delivery
• Review drawings and engineering data from internal and external stakeholders
• Build strong working relationships across project teams
• Continue developing your technical capability and industry knowledge
