Job responsibilities

• Own production reliability across the FX and payments platforms - monitoring, observability, alerting, and the definition and tracking of SLIs and SLOs.

Requirements :

• Hold local pharmacist license

• Have 3-5 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare industry in a quality related role

• Have competencies in quality assurance / regulatory affairs, customer relationship management and root cause analysis

• Have working experience ensuring compliance in accordance to Goods Manufacturing Practise cGMP,)/, Good Clinical Practises cGCP, Goods Distribution Practice (GDP) for Medical Devices and other local certifications in a warehouse and transportation business.

• IATA CEIV will be desired but not necessary.

• Familiar with drugs control and secondary labelling system

• Experience in conducting external and internal audits

• Must hold at least Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from a reputable local institute.

ABOUT THE JOB

• Support and execute technology transfer for drug substance manufacturing
• Drive scale-up activities from lab to commercial production
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth implementation
• Develop and optimize processes including purification, homogenisation, and cleaning processes for routine operations
• Provide technical guidance to site teams
• Lead and support validation activities including cleaning validation, water mixing validation, and risk assessments (e.g. extractables & leachables – E&L)
• Ensure compliance with GMP and regulatory standards
• Prepare and review validation protocols, reports, and technical documentation
• Support integration of single-use systems and new manufacturing equipment

• Academic background: degree in engineering, life sciences, or related field
• Experience in commercial-scale GMP manufacturing (biologics drug substance)
• Strong background in tech transfer and process validation
• Hands-on experience with chromatography and filtration processes
• Proven experience in cleaning validation and water mixing validation
• Strong understanding of both manufacturing and quality perspectives
• Experience in lab-to-commercial scale-up
• Fluent English. Additional languages are a plus.

Position Summary :

1. To provide Product technical support to production operations for areas of product engineering competencies and advocate industrial engineering best practices with support from multi-functional team ( MFT ).

2. Responsible for overall product performance and capability, new product introduction, equipment.

3. Responsible for product evolution and liaise closely with PDA on product roadmap.

4. Function as the main interface to Customers and be responsible for all quality issues of the product assigned. Drive actions with internal and external parties to decrease the rate of first-fit rejections.

5. Accountable for product root cause analysis of all quality/process issues by performing 8D analysis (FTQP) and driving the reactivity objective.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities :

1. Product & Engineering Competencies

- Accountable and responsible on managing product definition file and configuration

- Accountable and responsible on product evolution and stay active in IPT team

- To innovate, improve, implement, evaluate and sustain the engineering processes and capabilities

- To advocate engineering best practices supported by multi-functional team (MFT) and production to improve work processes and for optimum operational efficiencies.

3. Technical support

-Monitor & Escalate support effectiveness (with job prioritization) to Production Line Manager.

-Ensure adequate support to operation's requests and ensure adequate support given to production lines for Product evolution qualification, capability setup, and relevant technical supports as required.

Requirements:

• Diploma/ Degree in Aerospace/ Aeronautical/ Electronic/ Electrical/ Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent

• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in technical support function

• Experience in aviation industry will be added advantage

About the role

We are hiring a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to help make k-ID reliable at scale.

This role sits in the middle of our production backbone. You will own and improve the systems that keep our platform available, observable, secure, and resilient as traffic grows and our client base expands globally. You will work across infrastructure, tooling, deployment workflows, incident response, and systems design to make sure we can scale without breaking.

This is not a ticket closing operations role. We want someone who can look at a system, find the weak points, and harden it. Someone who cares about failure modes, blast radius, deployment safety, recovery time, cost discipline, and the realities of running production systems under pressure. You should be comfortable writing code, automating away toil, and partnering closely with engineers to improve reliability through better architecture and better operating practices.

Responsibilities

• Own the reliability, availability, and performance of the systems behind k-ID’s platform and public APIs

• Design and improve scalable infrastructure on AWS and Kubernetes that can support high growth, uneven traffic, and global production workloads

• Build and maintain strong observability across logs, metrics, tracing, alerting, and service health so issues are caught early and investigated quickly

• Improve deployment safety through better CI and CD workflows, release controls, rollback paths, and environment consistency

• Drive incident response and production readiness practices, including runbooks, on call hygiene, postmortems, capacity planning, and resilience testing

• Reduce operational toil by automating repetitive work and improving internal tooling for developers and operators

• Partner with engineering teams to embed reliability and operability into service design from the start, not after something fails in production

• Strengthen platform security and infrastructure hygiene across access controls, secrets handling, system hardening, and production safeguards

• Continuously improve system performance, resource efficiency, and cost awareness without compromising reliability

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure, platform engineering, site reliability engineering, or software engineering with meaningful production ownership

• Strong experience running production systems in AWS

• Strong hands on experience with Kubernetes and container based workloads

• Experience with infrastructure as code, preferably Terraform

• Experience designing and operating observability stacks using tools such as Prometheus, Alertmanager, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, or equivalent systems

• Strong understanding of distributed systems, failure modes, service reliability, and production debugging

• Experience building or improving CI and CD systems and release workflows in modern engineering environments

• Ability to write code and automation in one or more languages such as Go, Python, or TypeScript

• Good judgment during incidents and a practical mindset around tradeoffs, risk, and recovery

• Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a remote team

• Startup experience is a plus, especially in environments where systems and processes are still being built

Requirements

• No prior immigration experience is required as on-the-job training will be provided.

• Good time management skills & must be able to handle a high volume of digital documents

• Ability to plan workload and meet deadlines
