Job Description

The Purchasing cum Admin Assistant is responsible for supporting the company's procurement and administrative functions to ensure smooth daily operations. This role involves sourcing and purchasing goods and services, coordinating with suppliers, and providing general administrative support to various departments.

The position plays an important role in ensuring timely procurement, cost control, and efficient office administration.

Key Job Responsibilities

1. Purchasing & Procurement

• Prepare Purchase Orders (POs) in accordance with company procedures.
• Source and obtain quotations from suppliers for products, materials, and services.
• Compare supplier pricing, lead times, and product specifications to support cost-effective purchasing decisions.
• Liaise with suppliers regarding order placement, delivery schedules, product availability, and pricing.
• Verify purchase-related documents, including quotations, purchase orders, delivery orders, invoices, and credit notes.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure goods received match purchase orders and required specifications.
• Assist in resolving discrepancies related to quantity shortages, damaged goods, pricing issues, or delivery delays.
• Maintain and update supplier databases, purchasing records, and procurement documentation.
• Source for alternative suppliers and support supplier performance evaluations when required.

2. Administrative Support

• Maintain and organize company records, files, contracts, and administrative documents.
• Manage office supplies and coordinate replenishment to ensure adequate stock levels.
• Coordinate courier services, office maintenance, repairs, and general office administration matters.
• Support company events and internal administrative activities.
• Assist in monitoring inventory levels of office supplies and operational materials.

3. Compliance & Continuous Improvement

• Ensure all purchasing and administrative activities comply with company policies and procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality of company information and supplier agreements.
• Identify opportunities to improve procurement efficiency, administrative processes, and cost savings.
• Perform any other duties and special projects assigned by management from time to time.

Requirements:

• Minimum SPM/Diploma or equivalent recognized qualification.
• At least 1 year of experience working in an administrative role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel to prepare and manage project documents and reports.
• Ability to work independently and meet targets in a fast-paced environment while contributing effectively as part of a team.
• Proficient in using Wechat and Taobao as part of the sourcing tools.
• Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines consistently.

POSITION SUMMARY:-

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Sales Engineer to drive market expansion and manage technical relationships. The successful candidate will blend engineering expertise with commercial acumen to promote Himel industrial automation components, variable speed drives (VSDs), and electrical components to panel builders, system integrators, factory end-users, and OEMs across Malaysia.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:-

• Business Development: Identify and establish new client accounts (system integrators, M&E contractors and panel builders) to achieve company sales targets.
• Technical Consultation: Understand customer requirements, troubleshoot systems, and recommend optimal Himel Variable Speed Drives (VSD) and automation solutions.
• Product Demonstrations: Conduct technical presentations, product testing, and live demos showcasing the reliability and cost-efficiency of our product lineup.
• Account Management: Maintain and nurture robust relationships with existing key clients, proactively offering upselling or cross-selling support.
• Proposal & Quotation Management: Prepare commercial quotations, formal sales proposals, and answer client requests for information (RFIs) efficiently.
• Market Intelligence: Monitor local industrial automation trends, pricing strategies, and competitor activities to adjust sales approaches accordingly.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:-

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience: Minimum 1–3 years of experience in indoor/outdoor technical sales, specifically within the electrical products, switchgear, or industrial automation sector.
• Product Knowledge: Familiarity with Variable Speed Drives (VSD / Inverters), PLCs, low-voltage protection components, or industrial drivers is highly advantageous.
• Languages: Proficiency in spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia. Ability to speak Mandarin/Chinese dialects is an added advantage for local client management.
• Mobility: Must possess a valid Malaysian driving license and own transport, with a willingness to travel for client site visits.
• Soft Skills: Strong negotiation tactics, confident presentation skills, and a self-driven, result-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities and Authorities:
1. Handling of quality complaints, ensure they are resolve satisfactorily with necessary counter measures taken to prevent recurrence
2. Analysis quality problem found by QC Inspectors and interacting with other departments on problem resolution

The Role

Position: Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Independent Design: Perform structural design and analysis of building, infrastructure, or industrial projects.
• Drafting Coordination: Provide clear instructions and check drawings produced by draftsmen
• Coordination: Liaise with architects, clients, and contractors to resolve design conflicts and site issues. Attend to site inspections and site meetings
• Regulatory Submissions: Prepare and submit designs to local authorities for approval.

Recruitment Criteria

• Education & Experience
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering from a recognized university.
• Registration: Must be registered with Board of Engineer Malaysia (BEM) as Graduate Engineer or be in the process of obtaining a Professional Engineer (PE) license
• Experience:
• 1-3 years of relevant working experience in a Civil & Structural consultancy firms.
• Must have experience in both structural and infrastructure design projects.
• Experience in handling mid-rise or high-rise structure design and authority submissions.
• Site Experience: Proven experience in site coordination, inspection, or construction management is strongly preferred.

2. Technical Skills & Design Proficiency

• Structural Analysis: Sound understanding of structural behaviour, load path, and analysis for concrete, steel, and foundation design.
• Software Proficiency:
• Modelling/Drafting: High proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit (BIM)
