The Role:

Report directly to the President and play a key role in providing strategic financial planning, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and driving initiatives to improve cost efficiency and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities:

●       Manage day-to-day operations, including accounts payable & receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.

●       Develop and monitor annual budgets in alignment with the institution's strategic goals.

●       Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting to management.

●       Conduct financial analysis to support the planning of future academic programs and initiatives.

●       Implement and monitor financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.

●       Collaborate with heads of departments to forecast and optimise resources.

●       Ensure compliance with financial regulations, statutory requirements, and reporting standards.

●       Manage cash flow and optimise financial operations to support the institution's growth.

●       Review monthly payroll and perform bank submissions for staff and adjunct lecturers.

●       Oversee and manage all tax-related matters, including GST reporting and filing, corporate tax compliance, and liaison with external tax advisors and regulatory authorities.

●       Ensure timely submission of all statutory filings and regulatory requirements, including annual returns, surveys, and other compliance obligations with relevant government agencies.

●       Coordinate and support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with audit requirements and recommendations.

●       Monitor changes in accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements, and implement necessary updates to ensure ongoing compliance.

●       Any other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

●      Bachelor or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.

●      Professional certifications such as CPA(Certified Public Accountant) or CA (Chartered Accountant).

●      3-5 years of progressive financial management experience, within an international private education setting.

●      Comprehensive knowledge of Singapore's financial regulations and accounting standards.

●      Strong business acumen, financial analysis, forecasting and budgeting skills.

●      Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.

●      Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must.

●      Proficiency in Xero/Quickbook online would be an advantage.

Developthe overall marketing strategy and annual marketing plan for the M&EDepartment, clarifying target markets, customer positioning, and brand strategyin construction sector.

Integrateelectrical industry trends, consumer usage, and competitor profiles to proposedifferentiated marketing strategies with maincon.

Developand manage the M&E Department's annual marketing budget to ensure maximumreturn on investment.

2.Branding and Promotion

Responsiblefor brand positioning and image development for the Electrical Department,enhancing the market visibility and reputation of M&E.

Planand execute online and offline marketing activities (such as holidaypromotions, themed events, food festivals, and cross-industry collaborations).

Coordinatevarious promotional channels, including social media operations, KOLpartnerships, advertising, and public relations activities.

Guidethe design, copywriting, and development of promotional materials to ensurealignment with brand positioning.

3.Sales and Customer Relationships

Developand implement the M&E Department's sales strategy, leading the team toachieve revenue targets.

Developand maintain key accounts (such as corporate clients, maincons).

Promotemembership programs and customer loyalty programs to increase project turnover.

IV.Market Analysis and Data Management

Regularlycollect and analyze construction industry news, market trends, customerfeedback, and competitor information.

Establishand maintain a marketing data analysis system to monitor campaign effectivenessand ROI, and adjust strategies promptly.

V.Cross-Departmental Collaboration

Workclosely with the M&E operations and site teams to develop specialisedprojects.

Coordinatecollaboration with the maincon, subcon and clients.
