Job Description

The Manager, Risk & Compliance is a new role at Hafnia, to be based in Singapore or Copenhagen and part of the Governance, Risk & Compliance pillar within the Executive Projects, Compliance & ESG team. The team works closely with Hafnia's Leadership Group across three pillars to enable strategic execution, safeguard the organization through robust governance and risk oversight, and embed sustainability across the business.

The role reports to the Senior Manager, Head of Governance, Risk & Compliance. During an initial transition period, the role will report directly to the Head of Executive Projects, Compliance & ESG.

This position will play a critical role in operating Hafnia's risk management framework and Corporate Compliance Program, driving compliance efforts and managing enterprise risks. It involves guiding departments and maintaining oversight on compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to sanctions, anti-corruption, anti-trust, anti-money laundering, GDPR, and business ethics. • Operationalize and continuously improve Hafnia's enterprise risk management framework

Responsibilities :

Team Leadership & Technical Direction

• Lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers to deliver engineering solutions ensuring team capabilities align with customer expectations.
• Provide direction, expert advice, mentoring, and workflow management, including task prioritization and resource coordination, to achieve project objectives and milestones.

Role purpose: Support the daily operations of the Singapore Finance & Reporting function and provide analysis on sales and profit variances for the trading business, ensuring accurate and timely reporting and strong internal controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end accounting operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), billing, matching, and month-end cut-off (including goods-in-transit).
• Own and manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing process, including close calendar, schedules, and timely submission of reporting packs (e.g. Hyperion).
• Prepare and review monthly management reports, forecasts, and variance analysis(P&L and Balance Sheet) to support business performance discussions.
• Support credit control activities, including adherence to credit policies/approval matrix, AR follow-up, and credit insurance renewals and administration.
• Coordinate statutory and group reporting requirements, and support audits including journal/audit adjustment review and IFRS-to-FRS reconciliation.
• Support budgeting activities, including sales and raw materials planning inputs, budget preparation, and explanations to stakeholders as required.
• Manage tax and compliance activities including quarterly GST preparation, supporting corporate tax computations, tax provision calculations, and responding to IRAS queries (data support).

We build tools and platforms to help Grab engineers build their applications quickly and safely, improve the testing process and quality of their apps, ensure the health of the CI/CD pipelines, increase observability of our applications in production, create end-to-end automation for different workflows, and create common libraries to power the common use cases in the different apps that powers the millions of transactions that happens in the Grab ecosystem.

What Essential Skills You will Need

• Hands-on exposure to GitLab, and specifically to CI pipelines and runners.
• Experience in all the layers of the backend testing pyramid: unit tests, integration tests, end-to-end tests, API testing (REST, Protobuf, GraphQL), coverage, performance testing, load testing.

• Experience in product management value chain, taking leadership and driving segment level customer engagement.

• Thorough knowledge in FPSO and / or FLNG process optimization in process control systems and digitalization solutions.

• Knowledge of Marine systems, FPSO, including class rules like ABS, and DNV.

• Hands-on experience for business development, marketing,  engineering, project management & construction of FPSO projects.

• Good understanding of entire FPSO value chain including FPSO investment, supply chain, construction, operation.

• Knowledge of overall FPSO design including associated process & operation requirement.
