The Opportunity: 

This is a senior technical leadership role on our Payments Platform team. You will be a go-to engineer and technical decision-maker, driving architecture, automation, and platform reliability at scale. You will influence how Flywire's treasury and FX systems evolve globally, while mentoring and levelling up the team around you.

What You'll Do

• Architect and deliver scalable, reliable solutions across treasury, FX, and payment processing systems
• Lead technical design discussions and drive decisions with long-term platform impact in mind
• Partner with Product, SRE, and global stakeholders to translate complex requirements into robust engineering outcomes
• Champion automation and optimization initiatives that eliminate manual effort and reduce operational risk
• Establish and uphold engineering best practices: code quality, security, testability, and observability
• Mentor and coach junior and mid-level engineers; conduct technical interviews and support team growth
• Own resolution of complex production issues and drive post-mortems with actionable outcomes

The Opportunity:

We, at Flywire, are looking for an experienced Sr. Software Engineer I, ideally with a background in FinTech. Your primary responsibility will be to build and maintain the platform that supports the money movement of our industry leading payment engine moving hundreds of millions everyday. 

You will be joining a team in charge of designing new functionalities and improving the current capabilities to improve speed, cost and scalability of our product. Thus, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, pragmatic design, building quality products and to convey the sensation that the product is the responsibility of all the team is essential. You will be responsible for ensuring high quality code in a team defined timeframe. 

• Write clean, high quality, testable, secure, maintainable and extendable code
• Solve items such as challenging bugs and production issues within the development environment

Job Title: Full Stack Software Developer - .NET/C++. 

Location: Bangalore (Hybrid Mode)

Experience Range: 6-12 Years 

Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance the codebase for Resillion's TestWizard product suite, including: TestWizard Robot (primarily .NET Framework/.Net Core/C++), TestWizard Manager component (Java).
• · Design and implement robust and scalable software solutions, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• · Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• · Develop and execute comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure high code quality and reliability.
• · Define and perform Proof-of-Concepts when exploring new features or technologies.
• · Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing effective solutions.

We're a data and analytics team that builds reporting products for enterprise clients. We need a Power BI developer who can pick up a complex existing model, figure out what's wrong with it, and fix it — then keep building on top of it.

This isn't a role where you'll be handed clean requirements and told what to build. You'll be given a problem, access to the data, and expected to drive to a solution. If that sounds like your normal working style, keep reading.

• Model size - Large enterprise model — 80+ tables, 200+ DAX measures
• Shift Time - IST 3pm to 12am 

Day to day, the work looks like this:

• Taking ownership of reports that are already in production — diagnosing performance issues, fixing broken measures, and extending them with new pages and features
• Writing DAX from scratch. Not adjusting templates or copying patterns from documentation — actually understanding what the engine is doing and writing accordingly
• Working directly with stakeholders who don't speak Power BI. You'll need to ask the right questions to understand what they actually need, not just what they're asking for
• Keeping the data model clean — removing dead weight, managing relationships, and making sure things don't fall apart when the data changes upstream
• Collaborating with data engineers when a problem traces back to the source — you don't need to be a SQL expert, but you need to be able to have a technical conversation
