• Develop investment views by synthesizing insights from company meetings, earnings calls, sell-side research, and expert network consultations.
• Perform industry and competitive analysis to evaluate key growth drivers, risks, and market positioning of companies.
• Build and maintain financial models to assess earnings outlook, valuation upside/downside, and investment risk-reward profiles.
• Engage directly with company management teams, analysts, and industry experts to validate investment theses and identify emerging trends.
• Conduct due diligence and field research in China through company visits, management meetings, and channel checks.
• Monitor macroeconomic, regulatory, and sector developments to assess their impact on portfolio companies and investment opportunities.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee end-to-end finance operations, including financial planning, analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations.

• Collaborate with internal teams to determine funding requirements and manage cash flow in line with organizational agreements.

• Maintain rolling forecasts to support financial planning and resource allocation.

• Review and analyze budget performance (actual vs. budget) to identify potential variances.

• Source and manage competitive providers for bonds, insurance, and other financial instruments as needed.

• Prepare accurate forecasts and variance analysis to support decision-making.

• Build and maintain relationships with banks, insurance providers, corporate service providers, and regulatory bodies.

• Communicate proactively with stakeholders to provide financial insights that support business operations and strategy.

• Supervise and mentor finance team members to ensure continuous development.

• Collaborate with operational teams to ensure financial alignment across departments.

• Prepare regular management reports and support reporting requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related professional qualification.

• Meticulous with strong attention to detail.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
