Build a meaningful career in a supportive, growth-oriented education company
Do you enjoy keeping things organised, helping people and making sure things run smoothly?
Do you want a role where your work genuinely matters to students, parents and teachers?
If you are reliable, warm, detail-oriented and looking for a stable role where you can grow, this could be a strong fit for you.
We are looking for an Education Administrator to support our daily centre operations, parent communication and admissions follow-up.
At EduEdge, we offer a clear progression pathway from Administrator to Senior Administrator, with room to grow into Centre or Operations Manager roles for strong performers over time.
This is an entry-level full-time role with structured training, regular feedback and clear progression for those who perform well and want to grow steadily over time.
What this role is really about
This role goes beyond front desk admin.
You will help keep the centre running smoothly, support parents and students, coordinate important follow-ups and ensure key administrative matters are handled well.
Your work plays an important role in creating a positive experience for families and allowing our teachers to stay focused on teaching and supporting students.
In short, you will be a key part of the team behind the scenes and at the front line.
What you will be doing
1) Parent communication and front desk support
- Welcome parents and students in a warm and professional manner
- Handle enquiries via walk-ins, phone, WhatsApp and email
- Guide parents through registration and basic administrative matters
- Support new students during onboarding and help them settle in smoothly
- Create a positive and reassuring experience for families
2) Admissions and enrolment support
- Follow up with parents who enquire about our programmes
- Arrange consultation and assessment appointments for prospective students and parents
- Confirm appointments, answer basic questions and ensure smooth follow-through
- Support post-consultation follow-up and enrolment coordination
- Keep clear records of lead status and follow-up progress
3) Centre administration and operations
- Maintain accurate student and parent records in our systems
- Support attendance tracking, make-up lesson coordination and payment follow-up
- Prepare administrative materials and student resources where needed
- Coordinate updates clearly with teachers and team members
- Help ensure classrooms and centre spaces are prepared for daily operations
4) Systems and process improvement
- Learn and follow existing SOPs carefully
- Support the documentation of workflows, checklists and internal processes
- Gradually grow in your ability to spot gaps and contribute to better systems over time
Who this role is a good fit for
This role may suit you well if you are someone who:
- communicates clearly and professionally
- enjoys helping people and working with a team
- takes pride in getting details right
- is dependable and follows through on responsibilities
- is coachable and open to learning
- can stay calm and solution-oriented during busy periods
- is comfortable working on both weekends
- is looking to build a stable career in a positive and supportive work environment
You do not need prior education industry experience to apply.
Whether you are starting out in your career or already have some relevant experience, this role could be a strong fit if you are dependable and ready to grow in a structured environment.
What matters most is your attitude, reliability, coachability and ability to work well in a team.
Bonus if you have some skills in simple graphic design, video editing or social media content support, as these may be useful for occasional content-related tasks.
What you will gain at EduEdge
When you join EduEdge, you can expect:
- structured training and onboarding
- regular feedback and coaching
- a positive and supportive team environment
- the opportunity to sharpen your communication, problem-solving and coordination skills
- valuable exposure to admissions follow-up, systems thinking and operations management
- clearer insight into how a high-performing team and organisation functions
- merit-based progression based on your contribution, capability and growth
This role is especially suitable for someone who wants to build strong real-world skills while doing meaningful work that brings value to students and parents.
You will gain hands-on experience in communication, coordination, admissions support and systems thinking. These are valuable skills that will serve you well in many future roles.
Growth and progression
This is an entry-level role, but not a dead-end one.
As you become more confident and capable, you may take on wider responsibilities in operations, coordination and team support.
For strong performers who consistently show reliability, initiative, coachability and sound judgement, there can be progression into more senior administrative and leadership roles over time.
We believe in merit-based progression, where growth is earned through performance, contribution and trust, not simply years of service.
Work schedule
This is a full-time role with a fixed schedule of:
3 weekdays + 2 weekends
Both weekends are required, as this is when many of our students and parents need the most support.
This schedule suits some candidates well. It includes later weekday start times and avoids the usual early morning office rush.
It also gives you more flexibility during parts of the weekday.
