A. PURPOSE

The Product Manager (Managed Services & As-A-Service Portfolio) is responsible for the end-to-end design, packaging, commercialisation, and lifecycle management of the company’s full suite of As-A-Service offerings.

These include:

 Microsoft, AWS, Google Cloud CSP Licensing

 Cloud Admin-as-a-Service (CloudOps Lite)

 Infrastructure Management-as-a-Service (IFMaaS)

 End User Computing Management-as-a-Service (EUCMaaS)

 Network Management-as-a-Service (firewall, WiFi, SD-WAN)

 M365, Azure, Exchange service packages

 On-prem to cloud transition services

 Hybrid infrastructure managed services

The role ensures that all products are market-ready, competitively positioned, clearly defined, and financially sustainable, supporting the company’s transformation toward recurring revenue and Managed Service models. Technical delivery is executed by Digital Service Innovation team

(DSI), while this role focuses on product strategy, service design, pricing, and commercial go-to market enablement.

B KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Product Strategy & Portfolio Management

 Own the full As-A-Service product portfolio across Cloud, Network, End-User, and Hybrid Infrastructure domains.

 Develop product roadmaps aligned with customer demand, market trends, and organisational strategy.

 Define value propositions and create differentiated offerings for Gov, Enterprise, and SME sectors.

 Conduct market and competitor analysis to ensure offerings remain relevant and competitive.

Service Packaging & Commercial Definition

 Develop clear service packages including scope, inclusions/exclusions, SLA tiers, response times, service credits, and support levels.

 Create pricing models, rate cards, costing frameworks, and margin structures for CSP, EUCMaaS, IFMaaS, NMaaS, and Clouds services.

 Ensure product documentation such as brochures, service descriptions, proposal templates, and commercial decks are standardised and ready for sales use.

 Govern version control, updates, and lifecycle changes across all products.

Go-To-Market & Sales Enablement

 Support Sales and Pre-Sales with product positioning, customer pitches, tender submissions, and commercial structuring.

 Provide training and enablement to Sales, Delivery, and internal teams on new and updated service offerings.

 Partner with Marketing to support campaign development, service launch communications, and customer messaging.

Financial Ownership & Performance Tracking

 Develop and maintain profitability models for the full portfolio, ensuring sustainable margins.

 Forecast consumption and revenue for CSP subscriptions and recurring managed services.

 Monitor product performance, utilisation, customer adoption, and churn; recommend improvements or retirement decisions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

 Work closely with DSI Delivery and Technical SMEs to validate feasibility, operational readiness, and support structures.

 Collaborate with Finance, Legal, and Compliance to ensure alignment with costing, contract structures, and regulatory requirements.

 Support onboarding processes and work with Service Operations to ensure smooth transition from commercialisation to delivery.

Service Quality, Governance & Continuous Improvement

 Define KPIs for service performance and support periodic service reviews with Delivery teams.

 Ensure product alignment with ISO, MAS TRM, IM8, PDPA, Microsoft compliance frameworks, and other certification requirements.

 Incorporate customer feedback and operational insights to refine and upgrade service offerings.

C REQUIREMENTS

Education & Certifications

 Degree in Information Technology, Business, Engineering, or equivalent.

 Professional certifications such as Azure Fundamentals, AWS Cloud Practitioner, Google Cloud Digital Leader, ITIL, or equivalent is advantageous.

Experience

 3–6 years of experience in product management, cloud services, managed services, or IT commercial roles.

 Experience with CSP subscription management, cloud infrastructure (Azure/AWS/GCP), and IT managed service offerings.

 Familiarity with EUCMaaS/IFMaaS/NMaaS, network security technologies (firewalls, SDWAN, WiFi), M365, Azure workloads, and cloud migration frameworks.

 Exposure to SI environment, enterprise customer engagements, and multi-vendor ecosystems preferred.

Skills & Competencies

 Strong understanding of cloud subscription models, managed service frameworks, and recurring revenue business structures.

 Ability to translate technical concepts into clear commercial service offerings.

 Strong analytical and financial modelling skills for pricing and cost structures.

A PURPOSE

The Senior Manager will head the Digital & Technology is responsible for defining, governing, and executing the Group’s overall digital and technology strategy across UIC Technologies and UIC Asian Computer Services. This role provides enterprise-wide leadership over digital platforms, systems architecture, engineering capability, cybersecurity posture, and technology transformation initiatives.

The position acts as the custodian of technology direction and standards, ensuring scalability, security, operational efficiency, and commercial alignment as the Group transitions towards managed services, digital platforms, and IP-led offerings. The role works closely with business units, Digital Services & Innovation (DSI), Finance, and Sales to ensure technology investments deliver measurable business outcomes.

B KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Digital & Technology Strategy Leadership

 Define and execute the Group’s digital and technology roadmap in alignment with corporate strategy and transformation objectives.

 Establish enterprise technology standards, reference architectures, and governance frameworks.

 Drive adoption of cloud-first, automation-led, and data-driven operating models across the Group.

 Translate business strategy into scalable technology capabilities and platforms.

2. Platform, Architecture & Engineering Oversight

 Own the Group’s core digital platforms, including enterprise applications, cloud infrastructure, data platforms, automation frameworks, and AI-enabled systems.

 Provide architectural oversight for internally developed IP platforms and third-party systems.

 Ensure system reliability, performance, security, and lifecycle management across all environments.

 Partner closely with DSI to align central engineering capabilities with business delivery needs.

3. Technology Delivery & Transformation

 Oversee major digital transformation programmes, including ERP, cloud migration, automation, and AI initiatives.

 Ensure disciplined project delivery, change management, and benefits realisation.

 Enable reuse of common platforms, services, and components to reduce cost and complexity.

 Support continuous improvement of service delivery and operational efficiency.

4. Cybersecurity, Risk & Compliance

 Establish and maintain the Group’s cybersecurity posture, policies, and controls.

 Ensure compliance with regulatory, contractual, and industry standards (e.g. PDPA, ISO, GovTech requirements where applicable).

 Oversee technology risk management, resilience planning, and incident response readiness.

 Work with internal and external stakeholders to address audits, assessments, and assurance requirements.

5. Financial & Commercial Governance

 Provide technology cost governance, investment prioritisation, and ROI accountability.

 Work with Finance to support budgeting, chargeback models, and cost optimisation initiatives.

 Ensure technology investments support revenue growth, margin improvement, and scalability.

 Support commercial solutioning and pricing assumptions for technology-enabled services.

6. Stakeholder & Business Partnership

 Act as a trusted technology advisor to the Managing Director and senior leadership team.

 Partner with Business Unit heads to align technology enablement with operational and revenue goals.

 Support Sales and Pre-Sales teams on complex solutioning, tenders, and strategic customer engagements where required.

 Ensure effective vendor, partner, and ecosystem management.

7. People, Capability & Culture

 Lead, mentor, and develop technology leaders and teams across the Group.

 Build a strong engineering, architecture, and digital talent pipeline.

 Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, security awareness, and continuous learning.

 Drive succession planning and capability development for long-term sustainability.

C REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

 Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Experience

 12+ years of progressive experience in IT, digital transformation, system integration, or managed services environments.

 Proven leadership in enterprise-scale technology strategy, architecture, and delivery.

 Strong exposure to cloud platforms, enterprise applications, cybersecurity, and automation.

 Experience operating in multi-business-unit or group environments preferred.

 Familiarity with regulated or government-linked environments is an advantage.
