About The Role

The Director of Marketing Communications is accountable for defining and steering the regional marketing agenda in alignment with global strategy, ensuring coordinated execution and commercial impact across APAC markets. • Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field; an MBA and/or brand management certification is considered a plus

• 12+ years of experience in brand management / product / retail marketing leadership, including 5+ years leading teams

• Experience in a consumer-oriented Medical/Healthcare industry is preferred; an understanding of the hearing device market is advantageous but not a prerequisite

• A technical affinity and, ideally, experience with innovative electronic products

• A track record of building omnichannel marketing strategies, including consumer journey management and digital-to-store integration

• Extensive experience in (retail) brand strategy, marketing campaign strategy & execution, in-store consumer experience design & optimization, and retail performance metrics & conversion optimization

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain social media platforms, including Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
• Publish and schedule digital content across social media channels and website platforms.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to support content updates and campaign requirements.
• Assist in the execution, monitoring, and optimization of social media campaigns.
• Support community management by monitoring, responding to, or escalating audience comments and messages where appropriate.
• Track and report on social media and website performance using analytics tools.
• Update website content and conduct quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy, functionality, and consistency.

Job Scope

The selected candidate will support key national initiatives under SG Women in Tech (SG WIT) and SG Digital Scholarship programmes, focusing on marketing, communications, operations, and stakeholder coordination.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting marketing, communications, and event management activities for SG Women in Tech (SG WIT) and SG Digital Scholarship programmes

What You'll Actually Do

• Support media outreach: draft pitch emails, compile media lists, and help coordinate journalist and influencer engagements
• Research and prepare media monitoring reports and coverage summaries for clients
• Assist with event planning and on-ground coordination for client activations, media previews, and press conferences
• Help create content for social media channels, press materials, and client presentations
• Conduct industry and competitor research to support new business pitches and client strategy
• Contribute to influencer and KOL campaign coordination, from shortlisting to tracking deliverables

What We're Looking For

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma/Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or related fields
• Strong written and spoken English
• Comfortable working with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and Canva
• Curious about media, brands, and what makes a story newsworthy
• Able to commit full-time for a minimum of 3 months (6 months preferred)
