Your role in the Team

The APAC Cash Operation team will predominantly be supporting the cash function for APAC, including Singapore, Australia, Japan, India, Dubai and Emerging Markets.  However, the team will also be working with its counterpart in Poland who is responsible for IG’s cash function for the EMEA and NA regions.  The two cash operations teams are required to work together closely to ensure that IG’s cash function globally is running smoothly and is compliant with the local regulations and its internal policies.

• Negotiate term sheets, LOIs, purchase agreements, management agreements, and franchise agreements alongside external counsel.

4. Portfolio & Asset Management

• Actively monitor portfolio assets: monthly/quarterly performance vs. underwriting, annual budgeting, major capex/renovation oversight, and re-financing/disposition planning.
• Work directly with third-party operators and internal asset management teams to drive revenue enhancement and cost efficiency.
• Prepare investor reporting and quarterly valuation updates.

5. Network & Market Coverage

• Cultivate and maintain relationships with luxury hotel brokers (JLL Hotels, CBRE Hotels, HVS, Eastdil, Christie & Co), lenders, high-end operators, family offices, and sovereign wealth investors.
• Attend key industry events (ILTM Cannes, IHIF, ALIS, etc.).

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 5–9 years of relevant experience with a clear track record in luxury/upscale hospitality investments.
• Prior roles within: – Hotel-focused private equity or real estate private equity – Investment banking (real estate/hospitality M&A or lodging coverage) – Luxury hotel operator corporate development / strategy (e.g., Four Seasons, Aman, Rosewood, Dorchester Collection) – Hospitality investment sales brokerage or advisory (JLL, CBRE, Eastdil Secured)
• Demonstrable experience in project management of luxury hotel transactions (acquisitions, developments, or recapitalizations)
• Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier university; MBA/CFA/CAIA strongly preferred.

This role is ideal for candidates from fund administration, asset management firms, or Big 4 audit (with exposure to investment funds) who are looking to transition into a buy-side fund management environment.

The Role

You will work closely with the line managers, supporting the following key responsibilities:

• Support the end-to-end operations of assigned funds, including monitoring fund structures, cash flows and investor activities.
• Assist in maintaining fund-level data, records and documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare and review investor reporting packages (monthly/quarterly), including performance summaries and supporting schedules.

Your Profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related discipline
• 1–2 years of experience in fund management, fund administration, or audit (Big 4 with exposure to funds/asset management clients).
• Familiarity with fund structures, investor reporting, and financial statements preferred.
• Exposure to private equity / real estate / asset management funds would be advantageous.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail, particularly in financial and operational data.
• Good understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements (e.g. KYC/AML) is a plus.

Key Accountabilities

1. Provide end-to-end (holding the trade from inception to expiry) processing support to Global Financial Markets on FX Options, Commodities, Carbon, Crypto products across Singapore, Australia, China, Korea, Indonesia, Vietnam, Taiwan and Hong Kong
