We are looking for a F&B Floor Manager who will be responsible for the day to day operations of the outlet restaurant side. He / She will ensure efficient restaurant operations as well as maintaining high standards of quality and service to achieve superior customer satisfaction.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

● Maintaining market awareness and developing new and innovative processes for more efficient restaurant operations.

BASIC FUNCTION

• Supporting management team in delivering successful operations, achieving the hotel objectives and improving revenue profitability.
• Supervise duties for all Front Office associates.
• Ensure all associates provide excellent customer service at all times, and to make sure that customers are satisfied with the products or services the organization offers, and to deal with customer feedbacks.
• Accountable full responsibility for the entire hotel operations including Rooms, F&B and Security management in the absence of the General Manager and all other Senior Managers of the hotel.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Daily

• Responsible for all activities of the Front Office as well as other hotel activities relating to the effective and efficient operations and day-to-day running of the hotel.
• Familiarize with all room situations of the hotel and competitors, all room types and rates, promotions and new package plans.
• Awareness and monitoring closely of room situation, expected occupancy, VIP arrivals, forecast, promotions, banquet and conference events.
• Ensures accurate room assignment for VIP arrivals and/or any special arrangements.
• Conduct room inspections for VIP arrivals. Look out for defects and makes necessary reports to the respective departments.
• Checks on the event board for the day to ensure all signage of events are correctly displayed.
• Ensures proper log of all incidents pertaining to the hotel on daily basis for Management reporting with appropriate details and take necessary actions to avoid future recurrence.
• Assisting associates at the Front Desk/Bell Counter or any other areas/sections of the hotel whenever required.
• Check and supervise all Front Office associates on tasks that have been assigned to them and accord guidance whenever required.
• Authorize the acceptance of cheques, cash advance, rebates and refunds on the basis of procedures established.
• Check on housekeeping discrepancies (skip/sleep) reports and physically inspect or verify the discrepant status and execute necessary actions or follow-up.
• Co-ordinate closely with Security associates in the investigation of any irregular activities during the period of duty.
• Must possess confident caliber to handle emergencies and crisis situation.
• Withhold confidential information from the press or public with an aim to preserve and protect the Hotel’s image and reputation after any occurrence of crisis. Ensures all questions from the press are politely and tactfully directed to the Marcom Manager.
• Maintain and ensures cleanliness and orderliness at the Front Desk and all areas of the lobby and public areas. Initiates corrective actions deemed necessary.
• Attends to all guests’ inquiries, feedback and compliments and attend to guests’ need promptly, efficiently and in a professional manner.
• Review Front Office policies and procedures and emergency action plans with the Assistant Front Office Manager/Senior Duty Managers to ensure contents are kept current and up to date.
• Handing over swiftly any outstanding items and issues encountered or anticipated to the next Duty Manager by clearly documenting them in the Duty Manager’s Logbook when necessary.
• Conduct daily briefing and brainstorm to all associates.
• Perform other duties that assigned by the Management.
• Weekly - Assign and approve duty roster for all Front Office associates.
• Monthly - Attend monthly Front Office meeting and provide solution and open discussion during day-to-day operation.
• Yearly - Ensure Hotel Vision, Mission and Core Value are met and executed accordingly. Guide associates who in doubt.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Hospitality, Hotel Management, or related field

• Minimum of 2–3 years of Front Office experience; candidates with experience as a Senior Front Office Executive ready to take on Duty Manager responsibilities are encouraged to apply

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong leadership and supervisory skills; able to guide and motivate Front Office associates

• Identify potential end users and assess their work requirements to involve REI in proposals
• Implement new proposals based on work constructability and coordinate with Business Development Department (BDD) on scope and execution details
• Provide strategic inputs and standardized project working slides to the Business Development Team
• Evaluate ITB documents to strategize RFQ and price schedules, coordinating with proposal and tender teams for clear submission strategies
• Lead technical proposal preparation aligned with end user requirements and standardize technical proposal documents
• Review engineering schedules, deliverables, and technical specifications to ensure compliance with Singapore standards and manage cost impacts through Variation Order Requests
• Organize weekly engineering meetings and monitor inter-discipline checks and engineering deliverables
• Lead client meetings, monitor project schedules and delay logs, resolve holding points, and maintain strong client relationships focused on quality and competence
• Participate in client weekly HSE walkdowns, promote safety improvements, monitor incident reporting, and ensure adherence to corporate HSE policies
• Monitor rework strategies, training compliance, and quality assurance activities, coordinating with corporate QA/QC teams and arranging relevant third-party training
• Attend procurement meetings, track material deliveries, pre-qualify vendors, coordinate vendor approvals, and support commercial negotiations ensuring technical clarity before issuing purchase orders
• Coordinate construction planning and execution with client teams, lead weekly construction meetings, analyze progress using smart construction tools, and monitor project deliverables and S-curve performance
• Verify training hours, identify relevant training for crew and lead men, conduct training on smart construction progress, and provide input to corporate training departments
• Monitor construction equipment usage and registration, optimize equipment sharing across projects, and align usage with project budgets and requirements
• Monitor manpower loading and productivity indices through project planners and smart tools, conduct team briefings and brainstorming sessions to improve resource utilization
• Prepare and verify monthly progress and daily reports for management and clients, document lessons learned, monitor QHSE records, cash flow, commitment reports, and review finance reports to understand company status
• Manage multiple EPC projects to achieve timely completion, optimize manpower sharing.

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Mechanical, Construction Management, or equivalent (stated as "Preferably Degree/Diploma in Engineering or Mechanical, construction management or equivalent")
• 5 to 10 years of construction experience in EPCM or EPCC sectors ("Preferably 5-10 years’ experience in construction experience in EPCM, EPCC sector")
• Proven track record of successful project completion on time and budget or exceeding expectations
• Demonstrated leadership skills managing large or multiple construction projects
• Computer literacy in MS Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint ("Preferably computer literate in MS Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint")
• 3 to 5 years of management experience ("Preferably 3 to 5 years of management experience")
• Positive attitude with good interpersonal skills

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assist the Chairman/CEO in controlling and evaluating all relevant financial budgets and forecasting through constant monitoring of the daily reports.

• Knowledge of procurement process example; Request for Quotation [RFQ], Request for Proposal [RFP], creating and issuing of Purchase Orders, verifying of invoices against purchase orders and work completed and etc.

• Conduct research on available vendors to determine which vendors offer the best pricing and product / service quality.

• Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports including reports to Marriott, insurance companies and government agencies.

• Respond to queries from finance and facilitate on matters such as invoice, orders, delivery order, goods/services received, cost claims, revenue collection, cash and borrowings, inter-company transactions.

- Monitor stock levels and anticipate future needs. Coordinate with the warehouse or inventory team to ensure optimal inventory levels are maintained. Recognize potential stock shortages or excesses and take appropriate action to address them.
- Assist in developing and monitoring departmental budgets. Ensure that purchasing activities align with approved budgets and financial guidelines. Identify cost-saving opportunities and propose strategies to optimize procurement processes.
- Prepare regular reports on purchasing activities, including expenditures, savings, and supplier performance. Generate reports for management review to provide insights and support decision-making processes.

The Change Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating the program’s change initiatives.
