Your Role

As our Account Management (Brands Licensing) Intern, you will assist with the company’s extensive licensing programs by providing support to the team in pursuing business opportunities with artists and Intellectual Property (IP) holders to devise growth strategies for the company.

We are looking for someone who can start from end June/ early July onwards - ideally on a full-time internship.
For part-time internships, we would require an availability of 3 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality reports analysing sales data and other non-quantitative performance indicators

• Support the various team members on daily account management duties

• Approach prospective out-bound licensing partners to monetize a vast portfolio of intellectual properties

• Support the lead generation of in-bound licensing partners

• Support the cross-department escalation of conflicts between licensors and the company

• Any other tasks to be assigned by the Management and Head of Departments

The internship will give you a first-hand experience of what goes on behind a luxury Public Relations and Events agency. In your day to day, you will:

• Attend, participate, and provide support at client events, meetings, event sessions, and brainstorming sessions as require
• Assist in the development, research, and updating of event proposals
• Assist in administrative duties including sorting, collating, mailings, and other administrative functions as assigned

Job Summary

You will manage daily accounting tasks including invoice processing, accounts receivable, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation to support accurate financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Process sundry suppliers' invoices, payments, and staff claims accurately to ensure timely financial transactions
• Manage day-to-day accounts receivable activities including cash handling and cash management to maintain accurate records
• Update journal entries daily in the accounting system to reflect current financial data
• Perform account reconciliations and assist in preparing monthly financial reports to support management decisions
• Compile and analyze financial information to prepare financial statements, post journal and bank entries, calculate fixed asset depreciation, and perform monthly reconciliations

Role Summary:

We are searching for a committed, deadline-driven Accounting/Finance intern to join our Account Receivable team. You will be responsible for supporting various operational functions. This includes supporting daily cash application tasks, learning our systems and processes, and collaborating with the team to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
