Job Summary

Manage core accounting functions including accounts payable and receivable, invoice processing, bank reconciliations, and month-end closing to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately to maintain financial records
• Manage invoices, payments, and staff claims to ensure timely and correct processing
• Perform bank reconciliations to verify and resolve discrepancies between bank statements and company records
• Assist in month-end closing activities and prepare financial reports to support management decisions
• Organize and maintain accounting documents systematically for easy retrieval and audit readiness
• Coordinate with auditors, tax agents, and banks to facilitate financial audits and compliance requirements
• Provides general office administrative support to ensure smooth operations

Required competencies and certifications

• Minimum 1 year of relevant accounting experience
• GCE “O” or “A” Level; Diploma or equivalent professional certificates
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience with accounting software such as MYOB, Quickbook or similar
• Prior work experience in property management or engineering services company will be a plus point
