About the Role

The Chief Business Officer owns end-to-end commercial performance at Chocolate Finance. The role combines growth leadership (marketing, user acquisition, strategic partnerships, and AUM expansion across our markets) with strategic finance oversight (forecasting, business modelling, M&A, and capital raising support). The CBO works closely with the CEO and executive team on company-wide strategy, with a strong emphasis on AI-driven efficiency and profitability.

The CBO owns top-line outcomes including AUM growth, revenue, and unit economics across Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, and the UAE.

Key Responsibilities

Growth & Commercial Leadership

• Lead all marketing and growth functions, including performance marketing, brand, lifecycle/CRM, partnerships, and product-led growth.

• Partner with country teams to build aligned go-to-market strategies across priority markets and oversee key metrics and KPIs.

• Develop and scale strategic partnerships that drive non-linear growth (distribution, fintech ecosystem, institutional channels).

• Own core growth metrics: AUM growth, net new funded accounts, CAC/LTV optimisation, revenue growth, and contribution margins.

• Build and optimise a multi-channel acquisition engine (paid, organic, partnerships, referrals).

• Standardise marketing operations across markets, ensuring consistent execution aligned with the company's core brand identity while enabling thoughtful localisation.

• Partner with Product to improve conversion, retention, and monetisation funnels.

• Establish a data-driven growth culture with rigorous experimentation and performance tracking.

Strategic Finance & Business Operations

• Own the company's financial model, including AUM forecasts, revenue projections, and scenario planning.

• Lead annual planning, budgeting, and rolling forecasts across all markets.

• Drive unit economics clarity across acquisition channels, products, and geographies.

• Partner with the CEO on strategic decisions, including pricing, market expansion, and capital allocation.

• Develop frameworks for efficient growth (e.g., CAC payback, contribution margin).

• Identify and evaluate new revenue opportunities and business lines.

• Ensure financial rigour without taking on day-to-day accounting or controllership.

Requirements

• 15+ years of progressive experience across commercial leadership, growth, and strategic finance roles, with at least 5 years in a senior executive capacity.

• Proven track record scaling a fintech, wealth management, or financial services business, ideally across multiple Asian or international markets.

• Deep expertise in both growth marketing (performance, brand, partnerships, CRM) and strategic finance (financial modelling, FP&A, fundraising, M&A).

• Strong command of unit economics, CAC/LTV frameworks, and contribution margin analysis.

• Experience working closely with CEOs, boards, and investors on strategy, fundraising, and shareholder communications.

• Track record of building and leading high-performing cross-functional teams.

• Analytical and data-driven, with demonstrated ability to leverage AI and automation to drive efficiency and profitability.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.

This role will be responsible for improving existing technologies for producing chocolate and/or cocoa products for the Barry Callebaut group. The Process Engineer will be accountable for certain process performance and process capability topics within the plant. Within this role, you will support manufacturing operations teams with building and maintaining process and people capabilities, implement projects and collaborate with the Global Process Excellence and CI & TS counterparts.

This role also supports the evaluation, recommendation and the implementation of new process development technologies that optimize performance, are cost effective and will improve product quality and manufacturing techniques. This role act as a main knowledge and reference resource for the plant, the engineering team and other cross-functional departments in the chocolate-making process, from bean to bar. You may specialize or focus on a specific chocolate or cocoa process step in larger factories, such as liquid chocolate, powder, etc.

MAINRESPONSIBILITIES & SCOPE

• Develop industrially robust solutions for existing technologies and demonstrate the economic value of new production technologies, considering factors like operability, safety, food safety, morale, energy, throughput, and waste reduction.
• Establish and maintain global operational process standards and drive the rollout and monitoring of Process Operating Standards (SOPs, Process routines, etc.) and Process capability across existing installations.
• Manage data entry and accuracy in SAP for product formulations.
• Support SKU reduction/rationalization efforts.

The Sanitation Lead is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of the food manufacturing facility, including production areas, equipment and surrounding environments. This role ensures compliance with food safety standards, regulatory requirements and company policies while striving to improve operational efficiency and maintaining a safe, hygienic and productive environment. The Sanitation Lead plays a key role in preventing contamination and ensuring the facility meets all federal, state and local health and safety guidelines.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES & SCOPE

• Sanitation Program Management: Develop, implement and oversee sanitation programs and cleaning schedules for all areas of the facility, including production, packaging, storage and common areas.
• Ensure adherence to sanitation standard operating procedures (SSOPs) and food safety protocols, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) and other relevant regulatory guidelines.
• Team Leadership & Training: Manage and lead the sanitation team, including supervision, training, scheduling and performance evaluation. Provide ongoing training and support to sanitation staff to ensure adherence to cleanliness standards and safety procedures.

Perform verification tests (e.g., ATP testing, visual inspections) to ensure the effectiveness of sanitation procedures and identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with the quality control team to resolve any sanitation-related quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvements, cost reductions and increased efficiency in sanitation practices and cleaning procedures. Research and recommend new sanitation technologies, tools and methods that improve cleaning efficiency and reduce downtime. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., production, maintenance, quality) to enhance overall facility hygiene and operational efficiency.
• Inventory and Supplies Management: Monitor and manage sanitation supplies and chemicals inventory to ensure adequate stock levels and proper usage. Ensure that cleaning chemicals and supplies are stored, handled and disposed of according to safety and regulatory standards.
• Safety& Environmental Compliance: Promote and enforce a culture of safety within the sanitation department, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe chemical handling practices.
