Responsibilities:

• Educate, counsel and obtain consent from donors on the donation process
• Coordinate pre-donation requirements, including but not limited to scheduling blood tests, packing blood kits, and arranging donor medical appointments
• Provide support to donors during the process of workup appointment, hospital admission and discharge, and donation follow-ups
• Collaborate with the Search and Transplantation Team, international stem cell registries, collection centres, laboratories, couriers, and government agencies to facilitate stem cell collection and transport
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of the donor stem cell collection process
• Ensure compliance with organisational policies and regulatory standards, including those set by the World Marrow Donor Association (WMDA) and PDPC
• Support ad-hoc initiatives/projects, as assigned by the Donor Management Manager

Technical Skills:

• Knowledge of Human Leukocyte Antigen (HLA) preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Biological Sciences/Life Sciences/Social Science
• For Diploma holders, at least 2 years’ experience
• For Degree holders, fresh graduates may apply
• Experience in hospital / healthcare / social service- related setting preferred
