Job Description

1. Assist the Project Manager with preparation of overall cost and progress reports and other matters related to schedules, cost and materials.

2. Assists the Project Manager and supervise Document Controller to implement systematic document control and filing procedures.

3. Liaise and coordinate with Engineering and Procurement Departments for preparation of monthly progress reports prior to Project Manager’s approval.

4. Coordinate with the Construction department leaders on progress monitoring and recording.

5. Prepare and record change proposals for the contract between Contractor and Client.

6. Assist PM organize tender activities and coordinate in disciplines, vendors for tender preparations

Job Description:

• Prepare Electrical and Instrumentation design documents including Lighting design and calculation.
• Preparation of lighting layout 2D and 3D drawings, Lighting circuit diagram. Earthing and Lightning Protection design and drafting of layout, section, and elevation drawings.
• Cable ladder, conduit, trunking, cable routing design. Preparation of 2D and 3D design drawings.
• Cable sizing calculation, prepare Electrical cable schedule Prepare material take off (MTO) for material purchase.
• Preparation of Instrument Location layout drawing Preparation of Junction box termination drawings, Instrument Loop diagram Preparation of instrument Hook up, typical installation details.
• Preparation of instrument cable schedule Design coordination with internal design disciplines such as Structure, mechanical, piping team for design interface issue.
• Attend 3D model review and coordination with internal discipline engineers to resolves clashes.
• Attend site survey and provide design sketches such as cable routing, support installation details, etc.
• Support project tender team for material take-off from client tender documents.Attend factory inspection for E&I related material.
• Support construction site to raise material purchase request, evaluation vendor quotation, preparation of Material approval submission.

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent (FRESH GRADUATES ARE WELCOME TO APPLY).
• Minimum hands-on experience for using design software such as AutoCAD , Navisworks Manage,
• Support site testing & commissioning work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, installation, and commissioning of process systems (e.g.,reactors, piping networks, HVAC, utilities) and mechanical equipment for pharmaceutical/CDMO facilities.
• Oversee full project lifecycle, from technical specifications and risk assessments to on-site installation, testing, and handover.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore BCA, SCDF, HSA, and ASME standards,as well as GMP/GLP requirements.
• Manage subcontractors, vendors, and cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
• Conduct process optimization studies, troubleshoot mechanical systems, and validate installations for operational efficiency.
• Enforce strict adherence to Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act guidelines during installation activities.

Requirements:

• Diploma/ Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (Fresh graduates are welcome to apply)
• 1-3 years of experience in process engineering and mechanical installation in pharmaceutical, chemical, or high-precision manufacturing sectors.
• In-depth knowledge of piping systems, ASME B31.3, HVAC, and pressure vessel standards.

JOB DESCRIPTION:-

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs (Bills of Quantities), and tender documents for mechanical and piping projects.
• Analyze project specifications, drawings, and contracts to assess cost requirements.
• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for cost-related decisions.
• Administer contracts, including subcontractor agreements, variations, and claims.
• Evaluate and negotiate contract terms with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and local regulations (e.g., Singapore Standards, BCA, and SIA requirements).
• Assist in procurement processes, including material take-offs, supplier evaluations, and cost comparisons.
• Prepare and evaluate subcontractor quotations for mechanical and piping works.
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure cost-effective procurement.
• Monitor project expenditures, track variations, and provide cost reports to management.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety.
• Review and certify progress claims, invoices, and final accounts.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure alignment on cost and contractual matters.
• Attend site meetings and provide cost-related advice for mechanical and piping installations.
• Maintain accurate records of all cost-related documents, contracts, and change orders.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, industry standards, and Singapore regulatory requirements.
• REQUIREMENT:-
• Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical, Construction Management, or related field (FRESH GRADUATES ARE WELCOME TO APPLY).
• Minimum 1 years of QS experience in mechanical, piping, or oil & gas projects (Singapore experience preferred).
• Proficient in AutoCAD, CostX, Bluebeam, or similar QS software.Strong knowledge of mechanical & piping materials, construction methods, and industry standards.
• Familiarity with FIDIC, NEC, or PSSCOC contracts is advantageous.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Cost Control, Cost Management, and Cost Planning
• Experience in preparing and managing Bills of Quantities (BOQ)
