Job Responsibility

• Supervise and coordinate end-to-end export and import logistics operations, ensuring timely and efficient shipment execution.
• Lead and support the shipping team in shipment planning, documentation preparation, customs clearance, and delivery coordination.
• Monitor daily shipping activities and ensure compliance with customs regulations, international trade requirements, and company policies.
• Liaise closely with Sales Planning, Production, Warehouse, and Purchasing departments to align shipment schedules and customer delivery requirements.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, shipping lines, and transport providers to ensure smooth logistics operations and resolve shipment-related issues promptly.
• Review, verify, and approve shipping documents, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and customs declarations.
• Monitor shipping costs, freight performance, and logistics KPIs, providing regular reports and recommendations for improvement.
• Ensure accurate maintenance of shipping records, documentation, and logistics databases.

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in shipping, export/import logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team-leading role.
• Strong knowledge of international shipping procedures, customs regulations, Incoterms, and trade compliance requirements.
• Experience managing freight forwarders, customs agents, shipping documentation, and transportation providers.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and ERP/logistics management systems (e.g., SAP).
• Ability to analyze logistics performance, manage costs, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Able to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken, is required. Ability to communicate in Chinese will be an added advantage due to business communication requirements with Chinese-speaking stakeholders.

Managing a team of staff and drivers, the role will be responsible for managing the execution, direction, and coordination of all transportation matters within the organization, which includes managing budgets, organizing schedules & routes, ensuring that vehicles are safe and meet legal requirements, and making sure that drivers are aware of their duties.

• Achieve and maintain consistent key performance indicators and manage daily operations.
• Plan and schedule daily routes to ensure that the optimum number of vehicles is working at all times to meet customer needs.
• Allocate and record resources and movements on the transport planning system. Keep organized records of vehicles, schedules and completed orders
• Ensure operational efficiency, identifying potential cost savings opportunities and carrying out periodic reviews to identify gaps and improve on existing operations
• Track, monitor, report and control transportation costs
• Maintain vehicles in peak operating conditions in order to keep deliveries and distributions on schedule and within their established budget, and minimize costs by maximizing fuel efficiency and minimizing unexpected repairs.
• Ensure sub-contractors deliver within agreed terms.
• Effective liaison, support and assistance with internal and external customers.
• Promote safe work activities by conducting safety audits, attending company safety meetings, and meeting with individual staff members.
