The Cyber Risk & Control team is part of Grab's Cyber Security - Cyber Assurance function. We keep Grab's operations secure and compliant across Southeast Asian markets where regulatory requirements vary by country and continue to develop. Our work covers cyber policy, risk, and compliance - we balance regulatory obligations with operational realities so Grab can move fast without compromising on security or stability. The scope ranges from quick risk reviews to multi-quarter, organisation-wide compliance programmes.

We are a fast-paced team and expect people to be self-starters - to take ownership of their work, hold themselves accountable, and drive things forward without needing to be prompted. We make decisions collaboratively and work toward consensus, but we ask tough questions when something needs to be challenged. We are building automation and AI tooling to modernise how risk management works at Grab's scale.

Get to Know the Role

This internship is in the Cyber Risk & Control team, reporting to the Senior Manager, Risk and Control. You will also work regularly with the Security Automation team and get direct visibility into how both teams operate and where they intersect. The work is hands-on from day one - you will build AI agents and automation workflows to cut manual effort out of risk and compliance processes, contribute to internal tooling, and build dashboards that surface risk insights.

You will be onsite at our Petaling Jaya office five days a week.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• You will design and build AI agents to automate GRC workflows - control assessments, evidence collection, risk narrative generation - using approved AI platforms.
• You will write Python scripts and API integrations to connect GRC platforms, ticketing systems, and internal data sources, cutting out the manual handoffs that slow the team down.
• You will build dashboards that pull from security and compliance data sources, so partners at any level can read the risk picture without needing a walkthrough.
• You will contribute to internal GRC tooling - risk registers, control libraries, compliance tracking workflows - and keep them usable as the team's needs change.
• You will document what you build and walk the team through it. Nothing you deliver should become a black box once you leave.

As a Compliance (Transaction Surveillance) Analyst, you will be performing live transaction screening and investigations to continually safeguard YouTrip’s reputation and customer funds.

You will:

• Analyze and review live transactions within SLA that were flagged, identify trends & patterns that may signify suspicious or fraudulent activities, with knowledge of regulatory expectations.
• Assess potential name hits against sanctions lists to determine the acceptance or rejection of the transaction. 
• Establish any fraudulent patterns/indicators that may indicate that the account is compromised and/or in relation to scam related typologies. 
• Be the Subject Matter Expert in Complyadvantage (Screening Tool), and support any enhancement/process related workflows. 
• Handle resolution of confirmed suspicious cases, including assisting to reach out to affected customers and internal teams for further investigation. 
• Collaborate with Compliance and other key business functions to ensure a smooth end-to-end internal process to achieve customer satisfaction and safeguard company’s and users’ interests.
• Escalate to the compliance team whenever required upon true hits and/or suspicion, with a clear report that describes the rationale of escalation and the impact of the hit. (i.e. sanctions concerns, AML concerns or Fraud Concerns)
• As the required coverage is Daily - weekend work will be required.

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Credit Control Administrative to support our finance department. Unlike a traditional Credit Controller, this role is purely administrative. You will act as the vital link between our customers, the Credit Control team, and the AR department, ensuring that all communications and documentation are processed accurately and efficiently within our systems.

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Email & System Coordination: Manage the Centralized Credit Control email inbox daily. Ensure all incoming correspondence is sorted and uploaded to the Credit Next system or routed to the correct department for action.
• Post-Service Documentation: Systematically compile all service-related documents and job sheets received after service completion to ensure the billing trail is complete.
• Data Entry & Maintenance: Accurately key in data from service documents into the internal system, ensuring all records are up-to-date and error-free.
• CEWT Validation: Follow up with Credit Controllers regarding CEWT certificates. Perform thorough validation checks before passing them to the AR team for journal processing in Business Central (BC).
• Workflow Monitoring: Monitor the Credit Next system to ensure that customer queries are being actioned and reverted by the relevant Credit Controllers in a timely manner.
• General Support: Assist with other administrative duties as assigned by your superior to ensure departmental KPIs are met.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Minimum Diploma in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Prior experience in an administrative or data-entry role (experience within a Credit Control or AR environment is a plus).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel is essential)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proactive with a strong sense of urgency.
• Must be a Malaysian citizen or hold relevant residence status.

Highly Desirable:

• Multitask and manage high volumes of digital documentation.
• Build rapport with internal stakeholders across different departments.
• Converse in local dialects (Mandarin/Cantonese) is an added advantage for coordinating with various stakeholders.

Strategic & Governance Leadership

• Define and deploy the regional Quality & Food Safety (QFS) strategy, governance framework, and annual operating plan in alignment with global QFS standards.
• Lead regional QFS performance governance, KPI management, and harmonization of quality systems and practices across all sites.
• Ensure effective implementation and compliance of QMS/FSMS and relevant certifications across all SSEA operations, in line with global policies, internal procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Digital Quality & Modernization

• Lead the regional rollout of digital QMS/FSMS solutions, including LIMS, SPC, real-time monitoring tools, and digital dashboards.
• Oversee data integrity, analytics capability, and digital maturity across sites, OEMs, and tollers.
• Drive adoption of innovative QFS technologies and global best practices to enhance efficiency and decision-making.

Risk, Crisis & Regulatory Leadership

• Govern the regional crisis and product recall management framework, ensuring preparedness, cross-functional coordination, and timely escalation.
• Monitor regulatory developments, assess business impact, and ensure proactive compliance actions.
• Act as the regional representative to regulatory authorities, including participation in inspections and external engagements.

OEM, Toller & Supplier Governance

• Define and oversee the regional framework for OEM and toller QFS governance, including risk assessment, certification oversight, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement.
• Lead the annual OEM/toller audit program, including escalation management and corrective action governance.
• Strengthen supplier QFS performance in close collaboration with Procurement and Operations teams.

Regional Performance & Continuous Improvement

• Lead regional QFS audits across factories, warehouses, OEMs, and tollers, ensuring robust follow-up and systemic improvement.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce complaints, incidents, and non-conformities through strong root-cause analysis and preventive systems.
• Build a strong quality culture and customer-centric mindset across the region.
• Lead regional laboratory management and validation programs, ensuring reliable test data, efficient lab operations, and full SHE compliance.
• Manage the regional QFS budget, operating expenses, and CAPEX initiatives, including business case development and value realization.
• Lead QFS design for new projects and actively support R&D initiatives from a prevention and risk management perspective.

Leadership & People Development

• Build regional capability through coaching, structured training, and capability uplift programs for site QFS leaders and teams.
• Lead talent development, succession planning, and competency frameworks within the regional QFS function.
