JOB DESCRIPTION :
- Perform various types of testing including functional testing, API testing, and/or usability testing for assigned projects or products.
- Support and participate in performance testing and test automation testing activities.
- Perform testing activities, including test case design, test procedure preparation, test data creation, and test execution.
- Identify and document defects discovered during testing through Test Incident Reports
- Track and follow up on reported defects to ensure timely resolution, closure, or proper mitigation.
- Provide regular status updates and reports to the manager on testing progress, issues, risks, and overall quality status of assigned projects or products.
- Prepare and maintain testing deliverables in accordance with established standards, best practices, and audit or compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements, reproduce issues, and improve overall product quality.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the company from time to time.
JOB REQUIREMENT :
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, or a related field, and/or relevant professional certifications.
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in software testing/ quality assurance or related field.
- Good understanding of the software testing lifecycle and structured testing processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with good presentation skills and a high level of written and verbal communication in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Basic understanding of programming languages, networking, or system infrastructure will be an added advantage.
