Responsibilities

• Write detailed, comprehensive test cases and test plans aligned to product and business requirements
• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts; conduct manual investigations to diagnose and resolve backend user-reported issues
• Perform root cause analysis on failing test scripts and production defects — document findings and drive resolution
• Identify coverage gaps in the existing test suite and expand coverage through targeted supplementary scripts
• Lead exploratory testing on unreleased features, including defining requirements, expected behaviors, and downstream impacts
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines as mandatory quality gates that block non-conforming code from merging
• Establish and maintain QA standards, documentation, and best practices across the engineering organization
• Work closely with engineering and product teams to ensure product reliability, stability, and a consistent user experience

Requirements

• A minimum bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years in QA engineering with at least 2 years in an architect or lead capacity
• Strong proficiency in test automation (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or equivalent)
• Solid coding skills in Python, Java, TypeScript, or similar
• Deep experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI)
• Proven ability to define and enforce QA quality gates pre-merge
• Strong analytical and root cause analysis skills
• Excellent cross-functional communication with developers and product managers

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections according to inspection procedures and control plans.

2. Conduct dimensional measurements using the following measuring equipment:

• Nikon Measuring Scope

• Keyence 3D Measurement System

• Keyence Smart Scope • Mitutoyo CNC Vision Measuring System

• Digital Indicator

3. Perform product visual inspections using a low-power microscope.

4. Verify that products meet customer specifications, drawings, and quality standards.

5. Record inspection results accurately in inspection reports, check sheets, or quality systems.

6. Identify and segregate non-conforming products and report issues to the supervisor or QA Engineer.

7. Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues.

8. Ensure compliance with ISO standards, customer requirements, and company quality procedures.

9. Maintain proper documentation and traceability of inspection records.

10. Ensure measuring equipment is properly calibrated and handled.

11. Work closely with production teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes.

12. Follow safety procedures and workplace regulations.

13. Willing to work in a cleanroom environment, wearing a jumpsuit

Qualifications, Essential Knowledge, and Skills Requirements:

1. Education: Minimum A Level or ITE

2. Minimum 2–3 years of experience in quality inspection in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

3. Basic understanding of quality control methods and inspection techniques.

4. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

5. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

6. Good documentation and reporting skills.

7. Basic computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

As an Engineer, Test Solution Engineering - Process (Module or Component) at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible for the process development, improvement, and qualification of FOAK equipment, software or operation problems in processes and manufacturing.

You will work with Manufacturing, Test Engineering, Process Engineering, QA, Suppliers, and other cross functional central team resources to specify, develop, optimize, integrate, and qualify new and existing systems for manufacturing process. You will provide process direction and assistance in the local and internationally with the aim at enabling new technology, reducing overall cost, increase yield, reliability, safety, and optimize product manufacturing quality

Job Responsibilities:

Responsibilities for this role will include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Integrates AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness, exercising sound judgment and complying with organizational standards and legal requirements.

• Contributes to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, testing, and sharing AI-enabled enhancements within one’s scope of work.

• Drive efforts between Test Key Equipment Group (KEG) and Sites for new technology integration and issues resolution.

• Coordination of global continuous improvement efforts for manufacturing/equipment processes and capabilities to deliver industry best in class (BIC) methods.

• Drive the deployment efforts to transfer best known process methods (BKMs) and the latest process technology throughout the global manufacturing network.

• Lead global peer groups to optimize manufacturing performance and align this across the manufacturing network.

• Work with peer groups and customers to benchmark these metrics to improve performance in the network for BIC processes.

• Analyze and troubleshoot manufacturing processes and develop systems to optimize the process to increase overall efficiency for improved yield, quality, cycle time and cost.

• Facilitate the transfer of process BKMs and new technology among sites throughout the manufacturing network through worldwide project management.

• Manage projects from definition through first of kind deployment into HVM (High Volume Manufacturing) production.

• Ensure proposed solutions meet speed performance, mechanical form/fit/function, and material interface requirements.

• Analyze cost structure of a technology and identify appropriate actions to minimize cost of operation.

• Procure cost efficient solutions meeting mechanical, electrical, or manufacturing requirements.

• Responsible for Process of Record (POR), Change Management (CM), Failure Mode Effective Analysis (FMEA) and other key business processes for area of responsibility.

• Establish technical expertise on process and provide technical support to internal and external customers.

• Mentor, lead, and/or collaborate with global teams as required.

• Identify and determine origin of deviation, isolate cause and provide solutions with systematic application of 8D, Total Process Control (TPC), Problem Solving and Decision Making.

• Develop new process transfer package, procedures, training, and documentation.

• Occasional travel required.

  Job Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in any Engineering discipline

• 0 - 2 years of working experience

• Knowledge of Siemens Teamcenter Master data management and/or Critical Manufacturing MES systems and processes would be advantageous.

• Proficiency with data analysis tools and manufacturing software support systems (MAM, SAP, etc.).

• General understanding of the backend operations for component assembly, component test operations.

• Has depth of understanding and ability to manage worldwide business process. Can take a business process approach in worldwide networks.

• Has agility to manage and execute prioritized action items from both tactical and strategic point of views.

• Experience in SharePoint list management and in writing optimized SQL queries.

• Experience in Data Visualization tools and libraries like Tableau, Power BI would be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

• To measure and capture the defects along footpath and other commuter facilities using AFIS system.
• Conduct routine inspections and monitor the condition of these facilities in accordance with the Specifications.
• To provide manual inspection for roads / footpaths that have site constraints preventing the access of bicycle (AFIS).
• Check through the reports generated by the system and do the necessary additions and amendments.
• To make sure all the defect reports are checked and with all the information including defect description and measurement before submitting to the Authority.
• Identify all existing conditions such as protruding tree roots, algae, stagnant water, potential mosquito breeding grounds, etc., on or around commuter and road-related facilities and notify LTA internal divisions and relevant authorities.
• Report any incidents or defects arising from inspections that are posing immediate safety concern or inconvenience to the public immediately to the Authority’s representatives and appointed Maintenance Contractors’ Defects Reporting Centre (DRC).
• Attend site and coordination meetings as directed.

Requirements:

• Experience in civil / structural engineering works, construction or other engineering equivalent as approved by the OIC.
• Must recognise and identify defects / issues on the footpaths & walkways, cycling paths, linkways, shelters, footways, commuter and road-related facilities.
• Good knowledge of repair methods for defects identified on commuter and road related facilities; and
• Speaks and writes English fluently Strong attention to detail with good documentation and communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and able to interpret construction drawings.
• Prefer those holding a valid Singapore driving license.
