What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a quality assurance role, preferably in the food manufacturing industry

• Knowledge of food safety regulations and quality management systems (e.g. HACCP, ISO 22000)

What you'll be doing

• To supervise the daily operations of the QA laboratory.
• To ensure all QC matters and tests are performed in accordance to the described work instructions
• To verify all QC test records.
• To assist the QA Manager to investigate the root cause of non-conformity in in-coming materials, in-process products and finished products.
• To assist the QA Manager to investigate consumer complaint.
• To assist the QA Manager to carry out research and development work.
• To ensure laboratory equipment are calibrated in accordance to the calibration schedule.
• To assist the QA Manager to evaluate the suitability of raw and packaging material sample from supplier.
• To report any non-conformity in in-comings, in-process products and finished products to QA Manager.
• To participate in internal quality and food safety audits programmes.
• Staying up-to-date with industry regulations and quality standards
• Any other tasks given from time to time by the QA Manager.

Tasks & responsibilities:

• Candidate must be able to provide solution for QAQC matter and drive the result.
• Responsible for the supervision and monitoring of construction works in accordance with the contracts and construction drawings especially in respect of specifications, quality and time of completion.
• Accountable for the quality and workmanship of every activity, precise knowledge of all aspects of engineering construction and interfacing of the multidisciplinary processes
• Responsible for QA/QC documents of the complete project including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports and site instruction/observations, permanent materials delivered, and other important QA/QC documents.
• Develop and determine all standards to perform inspection and tests on all procedures and oversee all testing methods and maintain high standards of quality for all processes.
• To ensure that all materials delivered to site are conform to the approved specifications and the project's inspection test plan.
• To regularly report to relevant superiors on the progress of the works and the problem areas encountered especially in respect defective, outstanding or non-confirming works or delayed works.
• Upon completion of work, to carry out final inspections and handovers including ensuring that all as built drawings are prepared and a copy kept with relevant superiors prior to issuance of certificate of practical completion.
• To control all relevant project documents and data, prepare reports on progress, site activities and all other related matters.
• All other duties as and when assigned from time to time by the superior / management.

 Qualifications & experience:

• At least 3 years working experience in the related field required for this position.
• Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate, Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering or relevant discipline
• Candidate fluent in Mandarin preferred as role requires candidate to deal with Mandarin speaking clients.
• Working experience in industrial projects is an advantage. 
• Candidate must be able to work in Penang on 6 working day basis weekly.

• 負責管理所有相關的專案文件和數據，並編制進度報告、現場活動報告以及所有其他相關事項報告。
• 上級/管理階層不時指派的其他所有職責。

資格和經驗：

• 應徵此職位至少需要3年相關領域的工作經驗。
• 應徵者須持有至少工程或相關專業的專業證照、文憑/高級文憑/高等文憑/研究生文憑、學士學位/研究生文憑/專業學位。
• 優先考慮普通話流利的候選人，因為該職位需要候選人與講普通話的客戶打交道。
• 有工業專案工作經驗者優先考慮。
