Job Description:

•  Manage and lead a team of warehouse associates to ensure the timely and efficient fulfillment of customer orders
• Manage daily warehousing duties
• Planning, coordinating and monitoring the receipt & transfer client goods.
• To plan proper layout and warehouse space planning using company warehouse management system.
• Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to optimize inventory management
• Implement best practices and procedures to ensure safe and efficient warehouse operations
•  Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, warehouse activities, and employee performance
• Train and develop warehouse associates to improve their skills and performance
• Responding to and dealing with internal stake holder communication by email and telephone
•  Overseeing the planned maintenance & ensuring good utilization practices of material handling equipment, storage racks & other facilities provided.
• Ensure timely shipment and accuracy in inventory records

Requirements:

• Candidate must prossess at least a Diploma, Degree or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in warehouse management or a related field
• Fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia
• Positive attitude, passionate on collaborative teamwork, excel at interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Vendor & Supplier Management

• Conduct due diligence and research on existing and potential vendors, suppliers, and contractors.
• Evaluate and compare quotations and offers to secure the most competitive pricing and terms.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure efficient and cost-effective sourcing solutions.

Procurement & Cost Control

• Manage the procurement process from requisition to payment, ensuring orders meet project specifications and deadlines.
• Negotiated contracts, policies and purchase orders with vendors to obtain favorable terms, including pricing, payment schedules and delivery timelines.
• Track stock levels, purchasing patterns, and construction materials to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

Logistics & Delivery

• Arrange transportation and logistics to ensure timely and efficient delivery of construction materials to project sites.
• Monitor and coordinate delivery schedules to minimize delays and disruptions to project timelines.

Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare and maintain accurate records of purchase orders, invoices, and payment processes.
• Track purchased products and services, ensuring all transactions are documented and reconciled.
• Generate and present detailed purchasing reports with actionable recommendations to management.

Operational Efficiency

• Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to understand material requirements.
• Ensure all procurement activities align with company policies and project budgets.

Requirements:

• Strong organizational skills and must be a computer literature person, Good in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records.
• Preferably Chinese speaking candidates

1. Handle data entry, verification, and filing of warehouse inbound and outbound documents for raw materials and finished goods.
2. Maintain and update inventory records in ERP/WMS systems accurately and timely.
3. Assist in daily, monthly, and annual stock counts, investigate discrepancies, and prepare inventory reports.
4. Manage warehouse documentation including receiving notes, delivery orders, material requisitions, return forms, and transfer records.
5. Prepare inventory reports, stock movement reports, and slow-moving inventory reports.
6. Coordinate with warehouse, purchasing, production, and finance departments for stock reconciliation and data verification.
7. Monitor abnormal inventory situations such as negative stock, shortages, overstock, and slow-moving items.

9. Perform other clerical and inventory-related tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and sort incoming goods

• Arrange and shelve stock in an orderly and efficient manner

• Pick, pack, label, and prepare parcels according to customer orders

• Monitor and supervise daily work of general warehouse staff

• Ensure proper execution of warehouse SOPs and task delegation

• Conduct stock counts and inventory updates

• Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment

• Assist in loading/unloading shipments when needed

• Coordinate with supervisor and support daily warehouse operations.

Requirements

• Minimum SPM or equivalent; diploma is a plus

• Prior experience in warehouse or logistics environment is an advantage.

• Fresh graduate is welcome to apply too.

• Fluent in Mandarin (spoken and written) is required.

• Must be able to supervise workers and ensure tasks are completed efficiently

• Strong sense of responsibility and good execution skills
