Job Responsibilities:
· Assist the Purchasing Manager in sourcing and evaluating suppliers and vendors to obtain the best pricing and quality of products and services.
· Place Purchase orders, track shipments, and ensure timely delivery of goods to warehouse or company locations.
· Maintain accurate records of purchases, tax invoices, delivery schedules and contracts.
· Monitor and resolving issues related to deliveries and Tax Invoices.
· Maintain and update supplier information, procurement records, and related documentation.
· Maintain materials specifications in share folder.
· Coordinate with internal departments such as Finance, warehouse, and operation to align purchasing with operational needs.
· Assist in resolving discrepancies with suppliers, including damaged or incorrect shipments / deliveries.
· Support inventory management by monitoring stocks levels and identifying purchasing needs while minimizing excess.
· Provide administrative support to the Procurement team;
· Conduct market research to identify cost-saving opportunities and evaluate vendor offers.
CandidateRequirements:
· GCE “O/A” level or Diploma in Supply Chain Management / Business Administration ora related area.
· Attention to detail for accurate processing of purchase requisition / order.
· Strong organizational skills to manage multiple procurement tasks.
· Effective communicator to liaise effectively with the suppliers, colleagues and stakeholders.
· Able to work under stress and tight timeline, willing to support weekends when required.
