This short-term contract offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in government procurement processes and contribute to impactful public health initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day procurement operations, including creating, updating, and closing purchase orders.
- Update catalogue items, process variations, and troubleshoot system errors.
- Conduct open PO monitoring exercises and ensure accurate documentation.
- Support ad hoc procurement projects and initiatives as required.
- Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of procurement needs.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in a procurement or purchasing role within a government agency.
- Professional qualification in Supply Chain/Procurement is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
- Familiarity with Government Procurement Instruction Manuals
- Excellent communication, customer service, and time management skills.
