Your Role

As an Assistant Store Manager, you play a key role in driving daily store operations, leading the team on the floor, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. You’ll support the Store Manager in ensuring the store runs efficiently, meets sales targets, and stays true to our brand identity. From mentoring team members to executing product drops, you’ll be at the heart of everything we do.

What You’ll Do

• Lead by example on the sales floor, delivering outstanding customer service
• Support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets and KPIs
• Coach and motivate team members to enhance performance and product knowledge
• Provide expert product recommendations and styling advice
• Oversee daily operations including POS transactions, cash handling, and store opening/closing
• Maintain high visual merchandising standards in line with brand guidelines
• Manage stock levels, coordinate replenishment, and support inventory control
• Assist in receiving deliveries and ensuring accurate stock organization
• Ensure the store is clean, well-organized, and operationally efficient at all times
• Support and execute in-store events, activations, and product launches

Summary of Key Responsibilities
Essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Has overall shift responsibilities and is accountable for the smooth running of the store.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure that material is purchased at right price, right source, accurate lead time to meet client standards and requirements.

• Responsible for enquires about material properties, grades and potential substitution (to reduce cost).

• Lead end-to-end procurement process for all kinds of purchases (high-value, complex, etc.).

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and oversee the global inventory strategy for ANZ, Europe, and Asia, ensuring the supply chain architecture supports long-term business goals.
• Facilitate the procurement budget planning. Identify macro-economic risks (freight spikes, currency shifts, geopolitical delays) and implement hedging or mitigation strategies.
• Lead annual contract negotiations with global shipping lines and key suppliers to optimize total cost of ownership (TCO).
• Partner with the Senior Management, Sales, and Marketing directors to align procurement cycles with global commercial roadmaps and seasonal demand shifts.
• Build and mentor a high-performing team, setting KPIs that drive accountability and professional excellence.

Job Requirements:

• 8–10+ years in Supply Chain/Procurement, with at least 3–5 years in a significant management role. Experience within the Wholesale Trade sector or FMCG would be advantageous.
