About the role:
This position reports to COO in DB's Chief Risk Office (CRO) division. The CRO division within DB is committed to safeguarding the bank’s resilience by cultivating analytical discipline, sound judgment, and integrated and proactive risk awareness.

Key responsibilities:

• Understand variety of risk frameworks and cross-risk types and contribute to high‑quality analysis
• Support effective decision‑making in a dynamic control environment as well streamlining various risk processes via AI/automation.

Key skills:

• Foundational analytical skills, including comfort working with quantitative data, identifying risk indicators, and interpreting basic financial or operational risk information.
• Good communication skills, particularly in dealing with technical concepts, summarising findings, documenting analysis
• Technically savvy, ability to learn and work across dashboards, data platforms or analytics tools used for monitoring exposures, controls, and emerging risks.
• Curiosity to learn about core risk principles, including how risks are identified, assessed, escalated, and mitigated across a financial institution
• Fresh graduates who have graduated in 2024/2025 from Universities, Polytechnics, Institutes of Technical Education (ITE), or other Educational Institutions (e.g. private universities and overseas institutions); or Graduated earlier from above institutions and completed National Service in 2024 or 2025.

Chief Operating Officer (COO)

What You'll Do:

• Co-develop the strategy and business plan for the organisation
• Lead on funding of the organisation and programme through grants
• Lead on industry engagement and commercial member and event revenue.
• Lead on global partnerships
• Lead and manage company operations across multiple business units, ensuring efficiency, quality, and profitability.
• Translate strategic objectives into actionable business and operational plans with measurable outcomes.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation to maximise ROI.
• Implement data-driven performance metrics and reporting systems to track progress and identify opportunities.
• Foster a high-performance culture by mentoring senior leaders and empowering teams.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration between departments such as Commercial, Communication & Marketing, Finance, and Policy Programmes.
• Champion risk management within the organisation. 
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging technology and innovation to streamline workflows.

What You'll Bring:

• Proven track record (15+ years) in senior operational leadership roles, ideally as COO, GM, or equivalent and with non-profit association experience.
• Track record of scaling small non-profit membership organisations
• Track record of funding large scale programmes through global philanpropy funding.
• Strong business acumen with experience in scaling operations in fast-growing companies.
• Expertise in financial management, strategic planning, and organisational development.
• Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire, influence, and align diverse teams.
• Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in using KPIs and data to drive decisions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with Singapore's business environment, ASEAN regulatory landscape, and market dynamics.
