nSearch Global is hiring a Software Architect / Technical Lead to join as a core founding member of our HR tech product team. You will own the technical architecture, lead the build, and shape our product as it moves from MVP into production.

This is a hands-on senior engineering role. You will work directly with the founder, our engineering team, and HR domain experts to make critical technical decisions, set engineering standards, and steer the technical roadmap. The role is full-stack and central to everything we ship.

This is not a pre-sales or enterprise architecture advisory role. We are looking for someone who builds.

What you will do

Technical architecture and engineering leadership

• Own the technical architecture of the platform end to end across frontend, backend, data, and integration layers
• Lead design decisions on multi-tenancy, scalability, performance, hosting, and data residency
• Set engineering standards for code quality, security, testing, and documentation, and guide the team in applying them
• Review code, weigh in on architecture trade-offs, and unblock the team on technical decisions
• Drive enterprise readiness including SOC2 alignment, audit logging, role-based access, and security posture suitable for enterprise and government clients
• Work directly with our offshore engineering team on prioritisation, technical direction, and delivery

System integration and platform architecture

• Define and maintain an integration roadmap across ATS, HRIS, payroll, onboarding, CRM, analytics, and identity systems
• Design integration patterns using REST APIs, web services, webhooks, middleware, ETL, or SFTP where appropriate
• Drive enterprise identity requirements such as SSO (SAML or OIDC), user provisioning (SCIM is a plus), role-based access control, and audit logs

Testing, UAT, and release readiness

• Plan and coordinate workflow-based UAT with internal users and pilot customers, with clear scenarios and acceptance criteria
• Establish regression testing and release management practices that scale as we onboard more customers

Product mindset

• Bring a product mindset to technical decisions, thinking beyond MVP toward productisation, scalability, and long-term maintainability
• Partner with the founder on what is core product, what is paid implementation, and what is custom work, and protect that line as we grow

What we are looking for

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 7 to 10 years of experience in software engineering and architecture
• Demonstrated experience leading the technical architecture of an enterprise product or SaaS platform end to end
• Strong full-stack background with the ability to write code, review code, and guide architecture decisions across frontend, backend services, databases, and cloud fundamentals
• Hands-on experience integrating enterprise systems using APIs, web services, or middleware, ideally across ATS, HRIS, payroll, CRM, analytics, or identity systems
• Comfortable working with offshore engineering partners and across multiple time zones
• Practical experience with system testing, UAT coordination, regression testing, and release management for enterprise systems

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinate architectural, structural, MEP, and process utility designs for semiconductor fabrication facilities
• Act as the central design interface between architect, engineering consultants, equipment vendors, and construction teams
• Ensure cleanroom layout compliance with ISO classifications, vibration, AMC, temperature, and humidity requirements
• Coordinate tool layout, tool hook-up requirements, and maintenance access with process equipment vendors
• Manage BIM-based design coordination and resolve multidisciplinary clashes
• Translate design intent into constructible design packages for site execution
• Support construction sequencing for cleanroom build-up, MEP racks, and tool move-in activities
• Review and coordinate design drawings, shop drawings, RFIs, and technical submissions
• Manage design changes to minimize impact on cost, schedule, and tool installation milestones
• Resolve design issues arising from site conditions during construction
• Chair design coordination meetings and technical reviews
• Ensure alignment between client requirements, design intent, and construction execution
• Maintain design documentation control throughout the project lifecycle
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or related built environment discipline
• Minimum 6 years of experience in semiconductor fab, cleanroom, or advanced manufacturing construction projects
• Strong knowledge of cleanroom design principles and semiconductor facility requirements
• Proven experience coordinating architectural, structural, MEP, and process utility designs
• Familiarity with semiconductor process tools and vendor coordination
• Experience in design-build or EPC project environments
• Proficient in BIM coordination tools (Revit, Navisworks or equivalent)
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing and constructability
• Ability to manage design changes, RFIs, and technical clarifications during construction
• Excellent coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience working with main contractors, consultants, and equipment vendors
• Professional Architect registration is an advantage but not mandatory

A day in the life
No two days are the same. After lunch, you're running a workshop with SI partners on a new reference architecture, before ending the day in a strategy session to refine an ongoing sales play based on newly released solutions from AWS for SAP. Some days are heavy on building; others on presenting, teaching, or strategizing — but the pace of innovation is constant.

Basic qualifications

• 5+ years of customer-facing work, engaging with customer executives, technologists or partners to solve business problems with advanced technologies experience
