1. Volunteer Management (including befrienders)

• To manage the volunteers’ engagement, deployment and experience in order to achieve the organization’s mission and vision and build sustainable partnerships that mutually benefits.
• Support in coordination, recruitment, deployment, training, retention, and recognition of individual/corporate volunteers.
• To curate materials to support the corporate services in their marketing and communications work.
• To oversee and maintain an up to date database of volunteers and corporate partners

2. Educational/Employment Needs

• To provide academic/employment support for assigned residents in the Home.
• Provide group or one-on-one coaching to support residents’ educational needs.
• Implement and monitor progress of individualised educational plans and academic performance
• To deploy volunteers or professional resource pool to support academic needs accordingly and review /evaluate the effectiveness of help given.
• As needed, to provide guidance to tertiary residents in their employment/educational pathways and transitions
• To support in outcome reporting at relevant platforms

3. Programme/activities and Life Skills

• To oversee the scheduling and organization of volunteer-directed programmes to ensure a balanced representation of the different types of activities.
• To work with the team in co-designing, facilitating and evaluating the implementation of the Life Skills Programme.

Job Requirements:

• A degree in a related discipline

The specific responsibilities of an engineering consultant are generally divided into four core project phases:

1. Planning & Feasibility

• Client Consultation: Meet with clients to understand their technical needs, goals, and operational constraints.
• Site Assessments & Research: Conduct primary/secondary market research, technical assessments, and feasibility studies.
• Cost Estimation: Develop initial budgets, estimate labor/operational costs, and forecast project timelines.

2. Design & Engineering

• System Design: Translate client requirements into tangible designs, new system infrastructures, or equipment specifications.
• Documentation: Prepare detailed engineering reports, concept drawings, and technical specifications.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all designs strictly adhere to local authority codes, statutory regulations (e.g., BCA, SCDF, NEA standards in Singapore), and safety standards.

3. Project & Tender Management

• Tender Evaluation: Prepare and evaluate tender documents to help clients select the most suitable contractors.
• Vendor Coordination: Manage supply chains, oversee purchasing logistics, and coordinate with contractors and external consultants.
• Project Oversight: Manage project progression to ensure it adheres to the scope, budget, and deadlines.

4. Implementation, Testing & Commissioning

• Site Supervision: Supervise construction or on-site works, and review contractor submissions or temporary works to ensure quality control.
• Troubleshooting & Audits: Conduct routine audits, identify/resolve technical errors, and implement mitigation measures.

You will be part of the engineering team responsible for engineering design, regulatory submissions, and project management activities. The role includes leading and supervising Engineers and Engineering Assistants to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, safely, and in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review and coordinate civil and structural designs, calculations, drawings, specifications and technical reports in compliance with applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Manage regulatory submissions, approvals and technical queries with relevant Singapore authorities.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary design and project interfaces with clients, EPC contractors, architects, M&E consultants and regulatory officers.
• Planned manage assigned work to ensure delivery within project quality, schedule and budget requirements.
• Support site execution, resolve technical issues and provide practical, safe and cost-effective engineering solutions.
• Supervise, mentor and manage Engineers and Engineering Assistants and review their technical deliverables.

Requirements

• Minimum bachelor's degree in civil engineering recognized by the Professional Engineers Board Singapore, or an equivalent recognized qualification.
• Minimum4 years of relevant consulting, design and project-delivery experience. Fresh graduates and entry-level candidates are also welcome to apply for engineer positions.
• Eligible and motivated to progress towards Singapore Professional Engineer registration; existing PE registration is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of Singapore standard and codes, regulatory requirements and statutory submission processes.
• Experience in industrial plants, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, power, port, marine, reclamation or EPC projects is advantageous.
• Strong technical, communication, coordination and leadership skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Manager, Employment Development will oversee employment work streams development, open employment development, transition programme development and also oversee the right siting of PWIDs to jobs through Hi Job!, Job Placement and Job Support Programme (JPJS). This includes being a key person to liaise, develop and establish strong partnerships with potential partners to strategically drive employment opportunities and work engagement.

Job Responsibilities

Employment Development

• Manage JPJS project development to enhance vocational and soft skills training, facilitating the transition of PWIDs to open employment.
• Develop customized solutions to expand employment opportunities for PWIDs across MINDS facilities.
• Analyze market trends and leverage technology to identify and create innovative new job paths for PWIDs.

Collaborations

• Work closely with RCS leadership and related staff to co-ordinate implementation, manpower and resources for employment projects.
• Work with MINDS Services to augment a holistic approach towards employment development.
• As MINDS point of contact (POC) with SGE on all employment development matters.

Partnership Management

• Identify and acquire new partners for collaboration or trial for employment of PWIDs.
• Work with external stakeholders to coordinate resources, maximize employment opportunities, and negotiate collaboration contracts.

Research and Development of Employment Landscape

• Understand employment landscape and future trends for identifying new opportunities and consider improvement over the current employment models.

Grant / Funding Application

• Identify appropriate and liaise with funding bodies for funding opportunities to support employment development that aligns with MINDS strategic directions.
• As the POC with funding bodies on the details of funds and grants management, tracking and reporting of outcome and management reports.

Degree in Business Administration or a related discipline from a recognised tertiary institution.

This role holder leads the curriculum development team to conceptualize the masterplan for building the curriculum design and development capabilities in Hua Mei Training Academy (HMTA).

He/ She will drive the adoption of a standardized curriculum design model and blueprint (working in tandem with our subject matter experts - SMEs) to guide the curriculum development work in a consistent manner across the company.

Reporting to the Assistant Director, he/she will work with the Marketing team to identify training development opportunities for the Intermediate and Long-Term Care (ILTC) sector - including reviewing landscape analysis of the ILTC training resources, needs, stakeholders and opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Provide mentoring and curriculum leadership to the team responsible for the full spectrum of curriculum development ranging from needs analysis to curriculum planning and development, instructional design, and methodologies.

Qualifications

• Possess a bachelor’s degree in Curriculum Development/ Instructional Design or equivalent, preferably with at least 5 years of experience in curriculum/ learning design.
• Possess a WSQ Diploma in Adult and Continuing Education (DACE)/ WSQ Diploma in Design and Development of Learning for Performance (DDDLP).
• Familiar with a range of curriculum design models and learning design principles and methodologies.
• 3 years of work experience in a mentoring and curriculum leadership role managing the full spectrum of curriculum development ranging from needs analysis to curriculum planning and development, instructional design, and methodologies.
• Experience with SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) and/or AIC‑funded programmes is an advantage.

Pay range and compensation package

What You Will Do

• Assist the QP in supervising construction works and ensuring compliance with approved requirements.
• Lead and coordinate RTOs and site staff, including inspections, reporting and follow-up actions.
• Review drawings, method statements, material submissions and technical documents within the assigned scope.
• Resolve technical, quality and coordination issues with EPC contractors and the project team.
