• Perform planned preventive maintenance (PPM) / Reactive Maintenance (RM) / Service order (SO) to minimize equipment downtime.
• Work as a team to monitor and perform facility inspections and report on condition affecting operations.
• Performs repairs, maintenance and installation.
• Conduct routine monitoring and spot checks of all building equipment and systems.
• Involve in Company ‘s Emergency Response team (ERT), first aid and environmental health & safety (EHS) activities.

Requirements:

• Strong in handling Data centre facilities management.
• Experience in managing Data Centre uptime, security, and efficiency of critical IT infrastructure by managing power, cooling, security, and maintenance.
• Experience in handling Data Centre repairs, maintenance and installation.
• Strong in handling first level troubleshooting / root cause isolation / recovery action.
• Experience in handling mechanical and electrical field / engineering & building services industry (preferred)
• Good in handling Documentation of standard operating procedures / Checklist of equipment Tasks
• Able to read architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical as built (preferred)
• Able to commit to 12hrs rotating shift work that includes day, night and weekends

Micron Technology, Inc., a global leader in memory and storage solutions, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Engineer to join our Chemical team within the Global Facilities Engineering department. In this crucial role, you will play a vital part in providing high-quality Engineering services and support for the planning, design, construction, operation, and maintenance of our subject area specific Facilities systems across our Semiconductor Manufacturing sites worldwide for Chemical systems and Slurry systems.
Responsibilities:
Technical Support, Leadership, and Expertise

• Act as the Technical Field Domain Expert, offering consultation and support to all Site Facilities and Manufacturing teams.

• Collaborate with internal partners such as Technology Development, Procurement, Finance, and Legal to champion multi-functional collaboration.

• Develop, review, and maintain companies global system, equipment, and component Standards, Specifications, and Best Known Methods (BKMs) to ensure excellence in engineering practices.

• Implement Standardization and Alignment across Micron's Global Network and Sites for Engineering and Design concepts, Construction Project execution, Reliability Programs deployment, and Operations and Maintenance practices.

• Find opportunities for improvement in system designs to improve performance, efficiency gains, reduce maintenance, and achieve cost savings.

• Benchmark both within and outside Micron to capture Engineering Best Practices and Well Known Methods for Facilities buildings and systems.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technological advances, emerging technology roadmaps, design innovations, and sustainability practices.

Design and Construction Project Support:

• Provide valuable support to the Design teams in the Engineering development of new large-scale Facilities Infrastructure Expansion projects.

• Ensure that designs align with all applicable standards, codes, and regulations.

• Build and refine system design concepts for deployment.

• Ensure effective communication with local Facilities, Design, Construction, Procurement, and Manufacturing partners to deliver project objectives seamlessly.

• Conduct timely and thorough review of design packages, offering detailed comments and feedback to ensure the success of the projects.

• Assist in providing cost and schedule estimates and justifications for project approvals.

• Supervise progress and provide engineering expertise during construction as required per project if vital.

• Participate and lead capacity databases and system operating trends throughout the network, validating utilization and diversity factor assumptions.

• Review and guide on scope, schedule, and cost estimates for Facilities infrastructure additions or modifications.

Global Initiatives Program Support:

• Take charge of Global Facilities Programs & Initiatives, including establishing and defining program objectives, roadmaps, and high-level implementation plans.

• Lead Sustainability Programs in alignment with Micron's Corporate Sustainability goals and initiatives.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Process, or Industrial Systems Engineering required.

• Minimum 12 years experience in Semiconductor and/or Facilities related industry with Chemical and Slurry experience.

• Technical expertise, knowledge, and designing experience on Facilities and Semiconductor Chemical Systems including Bulk & Normal Chemical Systems, Chemical Blending Systems, Slurry Systems, Valve Manifold Boxes, Hazardous and High Purity Chemicals and Piping, and Chemical Distribution Systems.

• Ability to prioritize and schedule workload and work on multiple tasks concurrently.

• Self-motivated worker, good organizational skills and service demeanour.

• Excellent communication skills and good team working skills.

• Ability to travel internationally 25-40% on average, but up to 50-66% of the time during Critical Project phases or Site Activities.

  Provides engineering for semiconductor manufacturing site facilities changes for plant, office, and production equipment layouts, including semiconductor tool installations and R&D applications, working toward economy of operation, maximum use of facilities and equipment, and compliance with laws and regulations. Prepares bid sheets and contracts for construction and facilities acquisition. Completes engineering for requested changes to develop estimates for design costs including equipment, installation, labor, materials, preparation and other related costs for semiconductor manufacturing sites, including R&D applications. Inspects construction and installation progress for conformance to established drawings, specifications, and schedules. Develops criteria and performance specifications required to meet unique operating requirements and building and safety codes.
